Chapter 340 She’s Not Shameless
Frustied
You’re just like your shameless mother-nothing but dirty trash!” The woman’s anger kept
ng with every word, like old, ugly memories had suddenly come rushing back. Seeing Paul lying on the ground, she lifted her diamond-covered high heel and swung her leg as if she meant to kick him.
“And you even dare show up here and disgust people!”
“Stop!”
“What are you doing?!”
Some nearby customers-people waiting in line or reading the hiring flyers-couldn’t take it anymore and shouted at her. Two men standing close stepped forward and blocked her from Paul.
“Ma’am, why are you venting your anger on a child?” a well-mannered middle-aged man asked, frowning.
“Exactly. The kid was only handing out flyers. You pushed him first, and now you’re trying to hit him too?” another woman said while holding her daughter’s hand.
Being stopped only made the woman more furious.
She shot them a poisonous glare. But when she noticed their confident posture, she guessed they had status and didn’t dare lash out at them. Instead, she poured all her anger onto Paul.
“You little bastard! You dirtied my son’s shoes! Do you even know how expensive these are?! Even if you sold yourself along with your crazy mother, you still couldn’t pay it off!” She pointed at the chubby boy’s shoes-sleek, high-tech, and clearly costly-and shrieked, “Pay me now! One million stellar coins! Not a single coin less, or I’ll make sure you and your crazy mother can’t survive on Planet A001!”
Paul had already struggled to stand up, his palm still bleeding.
But he didn’t think about the pain. His face turned pale as he forced himself to explain through tears and hurt. “Ma’am, I didn’t dirty them. He… he pushed me, and I fell… I never touched his shoes…”
“Still lying?!” Her voice became even sharper. Her finger, with bright red nails, pointed toward his face, almost hitting his nose. “You’re still this young, and you’re already learning from your mother, lying and rotten to the core! Push you? My son is polite and well-behaved. Why would he push you? You just slipped and now want to blame him! Like mother, like son-crooked from the start!”
People nearby frowned. It was clear she was being unreasonable and picking a fight.
But when she mentioned the boy’s mother, it sounded like there was an old conflict, so others didn’t want to step in too deeply.
The moment Paul heard her insult his mother, his small body began trembling.
He could endure people insulting him, hitting him, or blaming him for things he didn’t do, but he couldn’t accept anyone insulting his mother.
To him, his mother was the kindest person alive. She was sick, not crazy!

Chapter 340 She’s Not Shameless
And she wasn’t shameless!
Simshed
He bit hard on his lower lip. Tears filled his eyes, but he refused to let them fall. His bright eyes burned with anger as he stared at the woman.
That glare only made her nastier, and she began spewing whatever cruel words came to mind. “What are you staring at?! You filthy little brat! Just like your mother-a bitch who seduced a married man! She gave birth to a bastard like you and still dares to keep living? If I were her, I would’ve ended my life long ago, instead of showing my face and making a disgrace of myself!”
“You’re lying!” Paul had tried to hold himself back, but hearing his mother cursed so cruelly snapped his last shred of control.
All his shame, anger, and desperate wish to protect her burst out at once.
Like an angry little animal, he lowered his head and charged forward with all his strength, slamming into the woman’s stomach.
“Ah!” She wasn’t ready at all. She stumbled back several steps. If the bodyguard behind her hadn’t grabbed her, she would’ve fallen.
But the hit still caused sharp pain in her stomach, and her carefully styled hair and clothes were thrown into disarray.
That only made her rage explode.
“How dare you! You little bastard! You actually rammed into me?!” Once she steadied herself, she shook with fury, her face twisted as she wanted to slap Paul hard.
