Chapter 199 Drink With Me

Olivia froze completely, scalp prickling and fists clenched until her knuckles turned white. Her heart hammered wildly in her

mouth.

Instinct screamed to run, to escape, yet the towering, suited figures of bodyguards in the corner crushed that hope instantly.

Escape was impossible. Even if she reached the door, a single look from Lucas would have her thrown to the ground like a helpless chick, leaving her broken and clueless.

She could not dieat least not yet.

There was still someone counting on her protection.

For now, obedience was the only option.

Forcing a heavy step, she inched toward the table and carefully lifted a glass of red wine.

Swallowing hard to choke down her revulsion, Olivia forced a stiff, practiced smile as she held the drink out with both hands.

Hello, Mr. Vance. It’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m Olivia

Marshall from Veridian Group. Thank you for your continued

support. I’d like to toast you.

Fearing he might make it difficult for her, Olivia downed the wine in one gulp and set the empty glass down.

The moment it touched the table, Ellis grabbed her wrist with his grubby hand, squeezing with enough force to snap a bone.

His other hand reached for her waist, the hot palm burning through the fabric of her dress, sending a wave of nausea through her body.

Struggling to pull away, Olivia found herself shoved onto the nearby seat, her wrist still trapped in an unbreakable grip.

Mr. Vance, please don’t

A violent tremor ran through Olivia’s frame, panic flashing across her features. A fierce urge to strike back and teach him a lesson burned inside her, yet she dared not risk giving away her true identity.

Ellisgrip only tightened, and his wandering, lewd hand began to creep higher up her waist.

Instinctively, she tilted her head and lifted her gaze toward Lucas and Weston, seated on the main sofa, a faint glimmer of hope shining in her eyes.

Deep down, she understood that open resistance was out of the question. The humiliation closing in on her had push her 15:19

with amusement.

Lucky you, Mr. Vance. Two for one. This little beauty’s delicate –you’d better take good care of her.

Yeah, you’re the main judge tonight. When you’re done, pass

her to us!

Right? I think Ms. Marshall is far more interesting than those other dancers.

Weston watched quietly, flipping a silver lighter between his fingers while glancing casually at Lucas.

Lucasgaze was fixed on Olivia, his expression unreadable, yet

he remained silent.

A flash of malice sparked in Olivia’s mind. She would not be violated.

Just as Ellishand inched higher and she prepared to twist his wrist out of place, a sharp voice cut through the noise.

Olivia!

Lucas leaned lazily against the sofa, his eyes dark and radiating

fury.

awkward and irritated.

Released at once, Olivia apologized hastily, I’m so sorry, Mr. Vance. I’m just too clumsy.

Resentment filled Ellisglare as he looked at her, though the urge to lash out was stifled by Lucaslooming power.

Before the tension could escalate further, Lucas tilted his chin toward two nearby girls. His tone was calm yet commanding.

You two, come over and keep Mr. Vance company. Pour him some wine and drink with him.

His calm voice carried unshakable authority.
