Her fifth daughter died, so she deleted his bloodline. novel Chapter 129

Chapter 24

Julian’s expression darkened with every word I spoke.

Black mist radiated from his body as he studied my face with heartbreak, teetering on the edge of a violent rage.

“I’m going to kill every single player right now. One of them might be the assassin.”

I wiped my tears and laughed.

“Don’t dirty your hands yet, honey. Let the bullets fly a little longer.”

The system voice chimed in right on cue.

[Initial players: 16. Remaining players: 11.]

I pulled out my phone. I had to press my face right up against the screen to read the group chat.

Monsters had claimed two players, and another died when their Sanity Level hit 100.

The last one was betrayed. Their teammate shoved them out to scout the corridor.

You see? Humans are experts at slaughtering their own kind.

By the time Julian and I walked out of the room, I had composed myself.

I didn’t need to hide who I was anymore. I didn’t have to run for my life in front of my family.

I could finally let my guard down.

Meg was shaking her head to snap her flattened body back into shape.

Her blood-red dress radiated pure bloodlust.

Her braids had grown thick and long, and she was using them to thrash Caleb around like a ragdoll.

Her dress turned from red to white the moment she saw me. She threw herself at me like a baby bird returning to the

nest.

“Mom!”

It looked like my silly girl remembered me too.

Caleb’s eyes bulged, and his pale face turned red from the constriction.

He cried out pitifully from mid-air.

“Alice, save me! This monster girl is killing me!”

I stood beside Julian and crossed my arms.

“Sorry. I’m too nearsighted to see what is happening. Are you playing on a seesaw or a swing?”

“My daughter is kind and beautiful. She wouldn’t even hurt an ant.”

“Why would she attack you?”

I smirked.

“You must have provoked her. You deserve it.”

The chat feed weighed in.

[Holy crap. She’s even imitating the legendary Ning’s bad eyesight.]

[I hate to say it, but even disfigured, her vibe is exactly like Ning’s.]

[Those mommy goggles are thick. Lady, that’s a homicidal monster. She’s nowhere near kind.]

Meg scowled.

Her white dress morphed into a vortex of razor-sharp lace that began to shred Caleb.

“You were spying on Mom. You’re mean! I hate you.”

Oh?

I reached up and yanked the rampaging girl out of the air.

“Get down. Let your father handle this.”

Meg obediently spat Caleb out and landed next to me like a sweet angel.

“Okay.”

Caleb watched our family reunion, and the realization hit him.

He crumpled into a heap on the floor.

His sickly face twisted in horror as he screamed at me.

“Alice! You knew I was here to kill you the whole time. How did you know?”
