Her fifth daughter died, so she deleted his bloodline. novel Chapter 32

Chapter 13

Adrian’s lips quivered as he struggled to speak, “Audrey… I’m sorry.”

He abruptly looked up. “Audrey, give me another chance. I’ve realized you’re the only one who truly loves me in this world. Can I make amends?”

I uttered a few words, extinguishing his last hope. “No chance.”

The next moment, the siren blared, piercing the sky.

Adrian was rushed out by the police who had been lying in wait and was quickly subdued

and handcuffed.

He was pinned to the ground, desperately trying to look up at me. “Audrey, Audrey…” over and over again, his voice hoarse and desperate.

I stood by the roadside watching him being escorted into the police car. The moment

our eyes met, his eyes were filled with madness and despair, while mine remained calm

and distant.

We passed each other.

Sienna was guilty of murder, and Adrian had assaulted me in a way that caused my

miscarriage.

Both were convicted of serious offenses, and with my complicity, they were both

sentenced to life imprisonment.

When Adrian was imprisoned, I hesitated for a long time before finally deciding to see

him off, to take my unborn child’s place in that journey,

We’ll never meet again. This final farewell, let’s see you off.

I watched him from the car and didn’t go out

Between the crowd and the fence, Adrian kept searching for me. The guard behind him kept urging him, but he wouldn’t budge. He scanned the crowd over and over, dozens of

times, until he’d memorized nearly everyone present, yet still couldn’t find me.

He lowered his head and gave a self-deprecating smile before being ushered into the

cell by the guards.

The iron gate snapped shut, trapping his figure in complete isolation.

He was sentenced to life imprisonment, never to have the chance to come out again, and

I, too, will never see him.

So, we will never see each other again.

I looked up at the bright spring sunshine and smiled, “Adrian, never see you again.”

Julian, standing beside me, silently took my hand. I turned around and clasped his fingers with mine.
