Perhaps Lily could speak to the Fulton family. After all, filing for divorce would affect the Fulton family, and they would likely support her decision.
She said nothing more and got into the car to leave.
Xavier pressed his thin lips into a straight line, his expression darkening as thoughts clouded his mind. However, a phone call from Timothy abruptly broke the silence.
"Mr. Fulton, the company is on the brink of collapse!"
"I'll be right there." Xavier hung up, got into the car, and floored the accelerator as he headed straight to Nova Group.

After the SUV had driven for a while, Terence said, "Dr. Blackwood, how is Hayden doing?"
"He should be fine after a few more psychological sessions," Rowan replied, his smile slightly reluctant. He wasn't quite ready to return the favor. "After all, it was Mr. Devereux's request, so I have to treat it with care."
Terence's thoughts were clear as a mirror. "Hayden no longer has the money to pay for his treatment, which means he's essentially being pushed out of the hospital. Yet, you're still willing to treat him for free.
"I must admit, I don't have the standing to claim this favor, but it's because of Xavier, isn't it?"
Rowan was speechless, and silence spoke volumes.
Rowan's composure cracked after being caught in the act. "Mr. Devereux, I still owe you a favor, and if you ever need help in the future, I'll be there."
"Dr. Blackwood, don't worry, I'm not here to settle scores." Terence smiled faintly. "I just want to know who should Lily owe this favor to?"
Rowan suddenly found himself stuck in a love triangle. He shouldn't have been greedy and tried to return the favor—now look where he was!
He was unsure what to say and remained silent for the rest of the ride.
It wasn't until the SUV stopped outside the Jadeford Hospital that Terence spoke again. "Please calculate all the expenses for Hayden's treatment during this time, and I'll transfer the money to you."
Lily quickly replied, "Okay."
Terence thought to himself, Eventually, the truth will come out.
…
Hayden had indeed improved a lot. On the way back, Lily followed his suggestion and bought a lot of fruit and snacks to visit the son of the deceased.
The Clarks had moved several times, and now Jasmine lived alone with her child, struggling with their difficult circumstances.
The last time Jasmine caused a scene at the hospital, it led to Hayden's suicide. The police had tried to guide her toward clearer thinking.
Jasmine was malicious, but only when it came to money. She'd never considered the consequences of her actions.
Seeing Lily and Hayden arriving, Jasmine panicked. "Are you here to settle the score? We're already in this miserable state. Are you trying to drive us to our deaths?"
