Her Heart Her Terms (Lily and Xavier) novel Chapter 313

The Nova Group's annual meeting was set for 8:00 p.m. the following evening. Many reporters were eager to conduct interviews on the Fultons.

Shane and Tamara kept a low profile, avoiding the press, while Xavier was so busy with work that he didn't even leave the company.

The reporters stationed outside the company entrance were waiting for Edith, who had come to visit her grandson. They caught her just as she arrived.

For the first time, Edith agreed to an interview. However, since she wasn't involved in the company's business, the reporters could only ask her about the Fulton family's private matters. For example, Xavier's personal life.

"Mr. Fulton is of the right age for marriage. Are you eager to become a great-grandmother?"

"Do you and Madam Faulkner have any specific requirements for Mr. Fulton's future partner?"

"Has anyone in the family arranged a matchmaker for Mr. Fulton?"

The Fulton family would dodge such questions in the past, but today, Edith stopped and seemed willing to say a few words.

The reporters immediately raised their microphones toward her.

"I'm getting older, so of course, I'd love to become a great-grandmother. I believe my grandson and granddaughter-in-law won't disappoint me this year!"

With that, Edith smiled and walked into the company. The reporters stood frozen for a moment before erupting into excitement.

"So does this mean that Mr. Fulton is married?"

"Of course! If he weren't married, how could Mrs. Fulton Senior so naturally mention having a granddaughter-in-law and talk about great-grandchildren?"

"I wonder which family Mr. Fulton's wife is from?"

"Today's the company's annual meeting. I heard the Fulton family will all be attending. Will Mr. Fulton bring his wife with him?"

Timothy sensed that Edith's visit wasn't a casual one. He set the documents down and quietly stepped out to make the tea.

The office, decorated in dark tones, had a heavy, lifeless atmosphere. Edith shot Xavier a disapproving glance.

"Your wife is about to leave, and yet your office still smells like a bachelor's den. How can you focus on work like this?"

Xavier realized that Edith was here to talk about his marriage. He frowned slightly as he listened to her lecture.

"Divorce her," Edith said bluntly. "There are plenty of women in the world. Just find another one."

Xavier's expression darkened. "I won't divorce her."

Just then, the office door opened, and Timothy returned with the Jasmine tea. He set it down before quickly retreating.
