Her Tears Are His Weakness novel Chapter 206

With a loud thud, Samantha's phone hit the ground.

Monica exclaimed arrogantly, "What are you doing? Mrs. Garrett didn't allow you to make a phone call. Who told you you could?"

Laura was pleased with Monica's actions and immediately smiled, saying, "Well done. Once Leo comes back, I'll make sure he gives you a raise."

"Thank you, Mrs. Garrett!"

Laura turned her gaze to Samantha, her eyes filled with contempt. "Leo is busy. Who gave you the right to disturb him over such a trivial matter? I'm still in charge of this house. If I tell you to leave, you'll have to leave. Hurry up and go!"

Samantha dismissed Laura and crouched down to retrieve the phone. Layla had been right—the phone was remarkably resilient. Despite being forcefully thrown onto the floor, it remained unscathed.

She held the phone, replying seriously, "But I don't think this is a 'trivial' matter, and I'll still need to let Leonardo know about it."

A flash of viciousness crossed Yara's eyes. She quickly grabbed a cup from the nearby table. Without hesitation, she hurled it at Samantha. The cup soared through the air in an arc, aimed directly at Samantha's forehead.

"Bitch! You're always trying to complain! Get out of here!"

Engrossed in her phone, Samantha remained oblivious to Yara's movements. Suddenly, the cup hit her forehead loudly.

Samantha felt a sharp pain in her forehead, causing her vision to blur. Dizziness overwhelmed her, and she nearly collapsed. She instinctively pressed her hand to her forehead and felt something warm and wet. It was blood.

"She was the one who attacked me first. She threw the cup at me and kicked me. You must have seen that, right?"

Laura didn't care whether Samantha was injured. Naturally, she stood by Yara.

"That cup was an accident. And she's a patient, and her hand is injured. How much strength could she have? You pushed her so hard. What if she fell? Are you going to take responsibility for that?"

Yara insisted, saying, "Yeah, I didn't mean it. How could you treat me like this? You're such a vicious woman."

Samantha let out a bitter sneer. It seemed like she was wrong no matter what, and there was no reasoning with anyone. Maybe leaving wasn't such a bad idea after all.
