“What is it, Albert?” he asked.

As soon as Kamron spoke up, Elnora shifted to glance at Albert.

Albert noticed Elnora looking his way, instantly withdrew his hand, and shook his head.

“It’s nothing,” he said.

Elnora glanced at Albert, her tone cool and even. “Mr. Campbell, is there something you want to talk to Mr. Nguyen about?

“If there’s anything you still need to go over with Mr. Nguyen, feel free to do so before we sign the agreement,” she added.

Albert opened his mouth to speak, but Elnora calmly cut him off.

“I happen to be free this afternoon, so I can wait,” she said.

With that, Elnora walked into the office without another look at Albert.
