His Housewife Had Secret Identities novel Chapter 812

“Instead, he looks like an aristocratic prince… Hey, is he single right now?”

“I heard he was married but got divorced… to the woman right next to him. That’s his ex-wife.”

The cluster of gossiping women finally shifted their gaze from Jonathan to Niamh.

Tonight, Niamh was also in white, wearing an ivory satin mermaid gown. The dress itself was simple, devoid of extra embellishments, but its tailoring was exquisite and the fishtail train was dramatic. The true centerpiece, however, was the tiara she wore in her upswept hair—a stunning, vintage-style crown of platinum set with a dazzling array of colored gemstones. It was a piece of breathtaking luxury and regal power.

When the dress is simple, the accessories do the talking. The minimalist white gown, elevated by its cut, paired with the opulent, jeweled crown, made Niamh look less like a guest and more like a reigning monarch.

“Wow… so that’s the head of the NJ Group?”

“Wait, I thought Jonathan Thomas was the one in charge.”

“No, it’s her, Ms. Rivers… I heard she’s Mr. Thomas’s ex-wife.”

“An ex-husband and ex-wife starting a company together? This has ‘getting back together’ written all over it!”

“Well, there goes my chance… with an ex-wife that beautiful, there’s no way Mr. Thomas would ever look at me!”

Niamh and Jonathan were fully aware of the eyes on them, but tonight, they had intended to make a statement.

Quincy’s face twisted in pain. He had no doubt that if Jonathan wanted to, he could easily crush the bones in his hand.

“I’m just reminding you, Mr. Wallace, that looking someone in the eye when you shake their hand is basic courtesy,” Jonathan said coolly.

“…Yes… you’re right, Mr. Thomas…” Quincy pulled his gaze back, his forehead slick with sweat. When Jonathan finally released him, his expression turned cold and resentful.

“You seem quite possessive of your ex-wife, Mr. Thomas! But… you’re divorced, aren’t you? Ms. Rivers is a single woman. If I were to pursue her, I don’t believe you’d have any say in the matter, would you?”

Faced with Quincy’s hostile glare, Jonathan simply smiled. “Whether I have a say or not isn’t for you to decide. It’s for me. Besides, Niamh and I are getting remarried soon.”
