HIS REGRET (Ex-Husband wants Me Back) novel Chapter 627

I've written a sex scene for Lydia and Cale. I hope I pulled it off. Please let me know if it’s not quite right or if it needs improvement

“Yes,” Lydia answered softly. “I trust you.”

As Cale closed the distance again, Lydia took the chance to ease herself free just a little. “Um… don’t rush. I’m not going anywhere.”

A faint smirk tugged Cale’s lips. “I know.”

“In that case, let me get ready.” Lydia lightly pressed her hand against his chest. “You already prepared that nightgown, didn’t you? It would be a waste not to use it.”

Cale smiled, running his tongue briefly over his lips. “You’re right.” His gaze flicked toward the red lace nightgown resting on the bed—irresistibly alluring. He couldn’t stop himself from imagining just how beautiful Lydia would look wearing it.

In the end, he loosened his hold on her.

But before fully stepping back, he leaned in slightly and murmured, “Take your time… because I have a feeling tonight is going to be a long one.”

Then he walked away just like that—his phone suddenly ringing, almost as if it knew Lydia needed a moment to breathe before everything began.

“Oh my God…” Lydia exhaled, long and unsteady. “Why is he like that?”

It wasn’t her first night with Cale, and yet… tonight, he felt different. Was it because they were finally, officially husband and wife?

She didn’t know.

But one thing was certain—Cale’s warning wasn’t something she could take lightly.

After calming herself a little, Lydia reached for the nightgown on the bed. She studied it for a moment, a faint smile forming. The cut was undeniably revealing.

And because of that… an idea slipped into her mind. The fabric in her hands left very little to the imagination—but she was certain it would be enough to draw Cale in, to pull them both into the heat that was already quietly building.

With a knowing smile, she headed into the spacious bathroom. The nightgown now clung to her frame, delicate and daring. She took out her makeup kit from her suitcase, carefully cleansing her face before reapplying a light touch—just enough to enhance, not overpower. Subtle… but she knew it would be impossible for him to look away.

“Love?”

When it was just the two of them, Cale always called her that.

At first, Lydia had refused—it felt too sweet, too different from the sometimes-infuriating man he could be. Cale had resisted changing it, claiming it was one of the many ways to keep their relationship romantic.

The excuse had made her laugh back then. But over time… she had grown used to it. And somehow… it did feel sweet. Especially when he said it like that—only when they were alone.

“Love, are you done yet?”

Cale called again, a little louder this time.

He had imagined her like this countless times—Lydia without restraint, without barriers. Even more than that… he had pictured her slowly shedding every layer herself, piece by piece, until there was nothing left.

And yet, even now—

He could never have enough of looking at her.

Slowly, he moved behind her.

His hand brushed against her hip, gentle at first, as though testing whether she would pull away. The position she held… it felt almost intentional, as if she had invited him closer without saying a word.

His touch lingered, then shifted fingers gliding along the curve of her thigh, slow, deliberate. Exploring, claiming, until he reached the place where her body responded most.

A soft breath escaped Lydia’s lips.

“Did you do this on purpose, Love?” Cale murmured, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. He leaned closer, his voice lowering into a whisper against the hollow of her neck.

Her hair had fallen over one side, leaving the other exposed—unguarded.

And Cale took full advantage of it. His lips brushed lightly against her skin, feather-soft at first, before the touch deepened, slow and deliberate, his teeth grazing just enough to leave a lingering sensation.

“No,” Lydia replied, though her smile betrayed her as she caught her lower lip between her teeth.
