Chapter 756
He couldn’t see Naomi anywhere.

His eyes swept rapidly across the hall now filled with disorder. Red emergency lights began blinking dimly from several corners of the room, casting everyone’s faces in an eerie glow that made the panic look even worse. Guards moved quickly to evacuate the guests while voices continued pouring through the communication lines without
pause.
But amidst all of that… Naomi was gone.
Cale’s heartbeat accelerated faster than it should have.
No.
Nothing was allowed to happen to Naomi.
His gaze turned terrifyingly cold in an instant.
“Daniel.”
A broken voice crackled through the communication device, interrupted by signal interference.
“S-Sir…” Daniel’s breathing sounded rough, as if he were running. “They took Miss Naomi through the back route.”
The moment those words reached him, every trace of composure vanished from Cale’s face.
“I’m heading there.”
There was no calm left in him anymore.
He moved immediately, leaving the main hall behind and charging through the underground corridor now half- consumed by darkness due to the crippled electrical system. His leather shoes struck hard and fast against the marble floor, the echoes cutting sharply through the chaos around him.
Several guards immediately stepped aside the moment they saw Cale coming. No one dared stop him. The look in his eyes tonight was far too terrifying.
The corridor leading toward the back route was much narrower than the main hall. Only part of the emergency lighting still worked, casting dark red shadows across the walls and making the atmosphere feel even more
sinister.
And the farther Cale went, the clearer the sounds of commotion became from the end of the corridor.
Then-
Bang!
A loud crash exploded through the narrow hallway.
One of the masked men was violently thrown against the wall right beside Naomi, hard enough to send the decorative frame behind him crashing to the floor in shattered pieces.
Naomi flinched violently.
Her breath caught the instant she saw the figure who had arrived.

Cale.

He stood several meters away from her, his gaze cold enough to feel even more frightening than the masked intruders themselves.
For a second, Naomi forgot how to breathe.
One of the intruders lunged first, raising a short knife toward Cale. The attack was fast, but Cale was faster. His hand immediately caught the man’s wrist midair before twisting it violently.
Crack.
The sound of bone snapping echoed faintly yet clearly through the narrow corridor.
The masked man screamed in agony instantly.
But two others moved at the same time from both sides.
“Mr. Miller!” Naomi cried out in panic without realizing it.
Naomi had been shoved backward earlier. Her wrist still throbbed painfully from how tightly they had grabbed her while dragging her out of the hall. The skin on her palms had been scraped raw and left bleeding from trying to fight back.
But all of that pain became insignificant compared to the scene unfolding before her now.
The fight was brutal.
Fast.
And absolutely terrifying.
The narrow corridor filled with the sounds of bodies slamming against walls, ragged breathing, and footsteps pounding harshly across the marble floor. The flickering red emergency lights made every movement look even more chilling.
And through it all, Cale moved without a single trace of hesitation.
Cale’s fist slammed into one of the attackers’ faces hard enough to send the masked man crashing violently onto the floor. Before the others could even react, Cale’s kick had already driven into another man’s stomach, throwing him straight into the wall.
Naomi stood frozen in fear as she watched him.
He really… looked like a monster when he fought.
There was no hesitation in him. No fear.
If anything, the coldness in Cale’s eyes became even more terrifying every time one of them tried to get back up.
One of the intruders suddenly attempted to lunge at Naomi from behind.
But Cale immediately grabbed the man and yanked him back violently before smashing his head against the wall.
Bang.
The sound of the impact made Naomi cry out in fright. She instantly covered both her eyes and ears. The screams of pain from the masked men echoed miserably through the corridor, yet Cale ignored every single one of them.

And just as the last remaining intruder seemed to be cornered…
Someone suddenly moved from Cale’s blind spot. The movement was too fast. At the same moment, Naomi finally forced herself to open her eyes again. The second she saw it, her entire face drained of color.
“Mr. Miller, behind you!” she screamed.
