Kevin told her to go to the kitchen in the afternoon to count the disposable tableware, keep a record, and handle the replenishment orders.

She didn’t even have time for lunch before she started working in the restaurant. Once she finished the inventory count, she began preparing the afternoon tea for the various departments.

She picked it up and saw it was from Mia. She replied instantly.

[Mrs. Ford, the employment contract for a CEO’s secretary is different from the one in logistics. There are restrictions regarding things like marriage and children.]

Mia had prepared this excuse in advance. Of course, it wasn’t just to pacify Evelyn.
