Kevin told her to go to the kitchen in the afternoon to count the disposable tableware, keep a record, and handle the replenishment orders.

She didn’t even have time for lunch before she started working in the restaurant. Once she finished the inventory count, she began preparing the afternoon tea for the various departments.

The reason Mia had chosen Team 8 was that it had the highest pay.

Mia was busy all afternoon.

She picked it up and saw it was from Mia. She replied instantly.

Mia had prepared this excuse in advance. Of course, it wasn’t just to pacify Evelyn.

The image of Mia carrying her box into the elevator flashed through Ethan’s mind.

Chloe was so angry she actually laughed. “I don’t understand? Mrs. Ford, you don’t understand either, do you? When men talk shop, we should just stay quiet and be the pretty accessories. Why do you have to stick your nose

in?”
