Chloe Bennett had just finished her shower. She was wearing red silk pajamas that barely covered her backside, eaving her long, pale legs completely exposed.

She slid open the balcony door and stepped out, looking at Ethan shyly.

Ethan glanced back at her, but before he could react, a dial tone buzzed in his ear.

He pulled the phone away and looked at the screen. Seeing that the call had been disconnected, his eyes darkened. After a moment, he shoved the phone back into his pocket.

Chloe was stunned. She spun around to follow him. “Where are you going?”

I have a meeting early tomorrow morning,” Ethan said. “The manor is too far. I’m going back to Orchid Estate.”

They had agreed she would stay in his room. Didn’t that mean they were supposed to sleep together?

Ethan started heading downstairs.

Chloe snapped out of it and chased after him. “Ethan, it’s so late. Don’t go. Can’t you just wake up thirty minutes arlier tomorrow to get to the office?”
