I was trembling, stretched so full around him, every nerve ending was alert. My voice came out shaky, almost broken.
“Adrian…”
He rewarded me with a deep, slow thrust that stole my breath. Then another, and another, setting a new rhythm that felt punishing in the best way. I clung to him, nails dragging down his back, legs locked tight around his waist.
The sound of skin meeting skin mixed with the rain still hammering against the windows. Every time he drove into me pleasure shot up my spine like sparks.
He buried his face in my neck, lips brushing my ear. “Again.”
“Adrian.” I moaned louder, the name turning into a plea. “Please… don’t stop.”
He did not stop, his hips snapped forward harder, the angle perfect, hitting that spot inside me over and over until my vision blurred. I could feel the pressure building again, hotter and sharper than before.
“Fuck. Bianca,” he groaned, the words vibrating against my throat. One of his hands slid under my ass, tilting my hips up so he could go even deeper. “You feel so good.”
I was lost in it, the weight of his body, the heat of his skin, the way he filled me completely. Every thrust pushed me closer to the edge until I could not hold back anymore.
“I’m… I’m going to…”
“Come for me,” he whispered, voice rough and commanding. “Let me feel you.”
The orgasm crashed over me hard and my whole body tightened, back arching off the bed as waves of pleasure ripped through me. I cried out his name, loud and unrestrained, thighs shaking around him. He kept moving through it, drawing it out, murmuring soft praises against my skin until I was boneless and gasping.
Only when my trembling started to ease did he let himself go. His rhythm became deeper, more desperate. I held him close, kissing his shoulder, his jaw, anywhere I could reach. A few more powerful thrusts and he came with a low groan, burying himself deep inside me as his body tensed and shuddered.
For a long moment, neither of us moved. Our breathing was loud in the quiet room, hearts pounding against each other. He stayed inside me, forehead pressed to mine, eyes closed like he was trying to memorize the feeling. I ran my fingers through his hair as I tried to calm myself down.
Finally he pulled out slowly and rolled to the side, pulling me with him so I was tucked against his chest. His hand stroked lazily up and down my back. The rain had softened a little, now just a steady whisper against the glass.
I closed my eyes, listening to his heartbeat. This felt too good, too right and that terrified me.
Adrian…” I started, my voice barely above a whisper.
He pressed a kiss to the top of my head. “Don’t.”
I lifted my head to look at him. His expression was serious now, almost guarded.
“Don’t what?” I asked.
Don’t say this is the last me. His thumb brushed my lower lip. “Not tonight.”

My chest tightened a little, I wanted to believe him. I wanted to stay here, wrapped in his warmth, pretending tomorrow did not exist. But the words were already forming on my tongue when a sharp knock sounded on the bedroom door.
We both turned towards the door slightly.
“Mr. Adrian?” A hesitant voice came from the hallway. One of the house staff. “There is an urgent call for you downstairs. They said it cannot wait.”
Adrian let out a slow breath, jaw tightening. His arms stayed around me, protective and reluctant to let go.
“I will be right back.” He said and he walked towards the door, he listened to what the staff had to say and he went out of the room, closing the door behind him. I stared at the door, the real world suddenly crashing back in.
Adrian came back into the room about ten minutes later, his jaw still carrying a hint of whatever the phone call had been. He had pulled on a shirt, not bothering with buttons at the top, and his hair was messier than I had seen it in weeks. He looked at me lying there, and something in his expression softened before it hardened again.
“I have to go.” he said. “It cannot wait, apparently nothing in my life can ever wait.”
I sat up slightly, pulling the sheet higher. “Go where?”
“Does not matter. Business.” He was already moving toward the closet, pulling out a dark jacket. “I have already told the driver to take you to your place first if you need to go there, then straight to the office whenever you are ready. There is no rush.”
“I can take a cab, Adrian.”
He turned and looked at me like I had suggested something deeply offensive. “You will not take a cab.”
“It is not that serious.”
“Bianca.” He said my name the way he always did when he wanted the conversation to end exactly where he placed it. “Do not be stubborn with them this morning. Please.”
I almost smiled at the please, It did not come out of him often, not like that, soft and a little tired.
“There is a guest robe in the bathroom,” he continued, buttoning his shirt now, fingers moving fast and sure. “Whatever you need, just ask Greta, she knows the house better than I do. Breakfast will be ready whenever you come down, and there is a car for you, and clothes if you need them, I had a few things sent up last night just in case.”
“You had clothes sent up? Last night? When exactly were you planning this?”
“I am a planner,” he said, not even pretending to be embarrassed. “Take the care they try to give you. Bianca. Do not fight the staff, they are only doing what I asked.”
He came over, sat at the edge of the bed, and for a second the suit and the tie and the urgent phone call did not matter. He tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, his thumb brushing my cheek once, and pressed a kiss to my forehead that lasted a beat too long to be casual.
“I will see you at the office,” he said quietly.
“Adrian.”
He paused at the door, looking back.
I wanted to ask him something but this felt like the wrong time to do so. “Nothing,” I said instead. “You can go.”
He gave me a small look like he understood exactly what I had almost asked, and then he was gone.

The morning after was its own kind of strange. Greta, an older woman with kind eyes and absolutely no patience for nonsense, laid out breakfast on the small table by the window like I was a guest of honor instead of whatever I actually was to this house.
