In a feverish haze, Archer obediently parted his lips and swallowed the medicine, drinking a few sips of water from the glass she held for him.

After a long time, assuming he had drifted back to sleep, she finally prepared to pull her hands away. Suddenly, his hoarse voice broke the silence.
