Housebound with the Blackridge Heirs novel Chapter 4

**Change Begins With You — Jayden Collins**

**Chapter 4**

Maya

In the dead of night, I was jolted awake by a desperate urge that demanded my immediate attention. I could feel the pressure building, a familiar yet unwelcome sensation that made my heart race.

With a quiet determination, I shuffled toward the bathroom door, twisting the handle with hopeful fingers, only to be met with the stubborn resistance of a locked door.

How in the world had I managed to lock myself out of my own bathroom? The absurdity of it struck me, but there was no time for contemplation.

I tried again, my mind clinging to the stubborn belief that maybe, just maybe, this time would be different. I even resorted to the classic shoulder nudge, a tactic I had seen in countless movies, but the door remained steadfast.

Of course, it did.

With a frustrated huff, I realized that my only option was to embark on a quest through this sprawling house to find another bathroom.

In the short time I had been here, I had discovered that my room was perched on the third floor, sharing the space with the men’s offices. Each of them had their own workspace, which I found peculiar yet oddly convenient, along with a sunroom that bathed in morning light. But alas, no bathrooms in sight.

So, I ventured down to the second floor, hoping for better luck.

The second floor was eerily quiet, and I did my best to match the stillness. I cautiously approached one door, only to find a linen closet that exuded the fresh scent of lemon. Another door was locked tight, and the third revealed what appeared to be an empty bedroom.

Frustration bubbled within me, and I could feel my patience waning along with my ability to hold back the inevitable. Then, I encountered a door that wasn’t latched. With a mix of hope and desperation, I pushed it open, stepping into a room that I quickly realized was not a bathroom.

It was Tylon’s room.

How did I know? Because there he was, and he was definitely not asleep.

A woman was perched on the edge of his immaculately organized desk, completely naked.

So was Tylon.

The realization hit me like a freight train, and it didn’t take long for my mind to catch up with the shocking scene unfolding before me. I instinctively retreated a step, pressing myself against the cracked door, but no matter how hard I tried, my eyes betrayed me, refusing to look away.

Her palms were splayed against the polished surface of the desk, while Tylon had her ponytail wrapped around his knuckles, causing her head to tilt back and her back to arch in a way that was both graceful and provocative.

The sounds of her pleasure filled the room, mingling with the heavy silence of the night as Tylon gripped her hips, driving himself into her with a force and precision that made my breath catch in my throat.

His body was a masterpiece, as I had noticed earlier that day. But witnessing him in this intimate moment was a revelation. His muscles were taut, his back perfectly straight, and the sight of him like this sent a shiver coursing through me. His face was a mask of concentration, eyes squeezed shut, his bottom lip caught between his teeth.

It twisted something deep within me, a mix of admiration and frustration that made me angry at myself. My mind screamed to file this under ‘privacy violation’ and to leave immediately, yet a treacherous part of me recognized the undeniable allure of skill and confidence that radiated from him. I told myself I wasn’t jealous of her; I didn’t even like him. I was just a student in need of a bathroom and a semblance of normalcy. The dryness in my mouth didn’t matter. The fact that I was a virgin who had never experienced anything like this didn’t matter either. But witnessing the way he moved, coupled with the sounds she made, stirred a longing within me that I hated to acknowledge.
