"Okay," I said. He walked out my bedroom and I soon followed after him.
He was being so supportive and patient with not just me but the boys as well. He didn’t speak or say to much about the situation. He just let the kids and I go through what we were going through but didn’t intervene or try pry into it further.
"Boys are you ready? The car’s waiting outside," he asked shouted in the hallway.
"Yes, Louis just tying my shoe laces," Tony answered.
We went into their bedroom where we found Marco and Tony together doing their finishing touches.
They wore stunning black suits and both looked so handsome.
"I need help fixing my tie," Marco said upon Louis and I entering the room.
"Let me help you then," he said as he knelt infront of him and helped him adjust it.
"There you go," Louis said once he was done.
"Thanks," Marco said with a small smile. He was slowly but surely getting more confortable with us. He was a good kid. I felt bad for doubting him initially when Diana was using him.
Soon we left my apartment and headed for the car outside by thte building entrance. It was such a relief not having to use so many bodyguards anymore. Kolton really made our lives a nightmare.
We all got in the car and made our way to the service at a church near the Acland estate. From what I’d heard the repairs to the Acland estate were mostly finished. I wonder whats going to happen to it now.
Upon arriving at the church and enetering the building we were met by a large crowd of people. Many of the Acland family associates and business partners were present. Keith’s parents were standing ahead by the chruch hall doors.
Angelina was crying and had a handkerchief to her face as she wiped her tears away. Henry was beside her talking to the attendees.
He had a grief stricken face. He looked like he hadn’t eaten for days he hadn’t.
I looked around and found he didn’t have the usual young woman he would always have around him. Obviously, it should be expected for him not to do it at his childs fneral but this was Henry we were talking about.
We went towards them and greeted them.
"Jasmine, I’m glad you made it," she said to me. She then looked at the boys and greeted them as well. Though she didn’t look to fond of Marco. Then her eyes went to Louis and she politely greeted him but she was not happy to see him either.
We entered the hall and saw the two large caskets at the front of the church. Then the reality of the situation once again sunk in for me.
Louis, the boys and myself sat down together and soon the service started. The Aclands’ were catholic so it started with the priest giving mass. Then the reception moved on to talking about the lives of the brothers and then finally it ended with the speeches from their families and friends.
As I was Keith’s legal wife at the time of his death, I also had to give a speech. Knowing this I prepared something to say ahead of time.
