Nora slowly nodded. Deep down, she wasn't surprised—Xander was always ten steps ahead of everyone else.
Whatever she needed to investigate, whatever resources she required, he already had them prepped and waiting. It was incredibly satisfying to have someone who understood her methods so perfectly.
Nora composed herself, her gaze sharpening into a deadly focus. "I'm going to release all this evidence online. I'll be submitting a real-name public whistleblowing report."
Xander paused for a beat, his voice warming with approval. "Now that's the Nora Newman I know."
That night, after compiling all the irrefutable proof, Nora first submitted the whistleblowing materials to the relevant government oversight departments for official verification. Then, she published the entire dossier across every major social media platform.
The documents were meticulously organized. Instead of wasting time writing a defensive post about her own controversies, she went straight for the throat, methodically laying out every piece of evidence to execute a precision strike against the true mastermind.
The internet exploded instantly, and the explosive revelations spread like wildfire.
The next morning, Seraphina groggily reached for her phone to check the time. When her eyes landed on the barrage of breaking news notifications, she shot up in bed, her pupils shrinking in absolute horror.
She clicked through the articles one by one. The color drained from her face, leaving her lips a sickly shade of white.
The highly classified documents she thought would remain buried forever were now glaring back at her from her screen. Every single layer of her carefully constructed disguise was violently ripped away in a matter of seconds.
She read the articles over and over in sheer disbelief, feeling as though the sky had literally collapsed on her head. "How is this happening? This is impossible! Who leaked this?! Didn't I already threaten that bitch Annalise to keep her mouth shut?!"
Almost immediately, one prime suspect flashed into Seraphina's mind.
Nora!
"Come home immediately," Sterling ordered urgently. "We need to discuss this in person."
Seraphina sprinted to the bathroom to throw some water on her face. "Okay, I'm heading back right now."
She dressed haphazardly and rushed back to the Shaw Estate.
Speeding the entire way, she burst into the living room to find Sterling and Elena already waiting on the sofa, their expressions grim and dark.
Seraphina ran toward them, her eyes bloodshot. "Mom! Dad! How did these documents leak?! Didn't you swear to me it was foolproof? Didn't that tramp Annalise take the payout and promise to stay quiet?! Now she's not only testifying, she leaked the original transfer agreements! If any of this gets officially verified... my entire future is destroyed!"
Sterling glared at her, his voice dripping with frustration. "Stop panicking! Finding out how it leaked is pointless now. Our top priority is burying this scandal before it goes any further. Have you told Finnegan about this?"
