"Whew! That was one hell of a ride!"
Seraphina Sullivan and Sean Chandler’s figures materialized inside the RV, back within the familiar safe zone.
They thought back on their seven-day ordeal in the Aberrant Radiation instance.
Seraphina Sullivan, in particular, was still shaken by the heart-stopping final battle with the Mokla Giant Tree.
Still, the overall haul from this venture was quite substantial.
The difficulty of survival had been immense and danger lurked around every corner, but high risk meant high reward.
At the moment, Seraphina Sullivan couldn’t be bothered to check the two Treasure Chests from the mission rewards, nor the [Friend Communication List] feature the system had announced she unlocked upon reaching Level 3.
She had more important things to do right now.
First, she needed to enter the Scavenger’s Farm Space and completely decontaminate herself.
The two of them had spent a full seven days in an instance where radiation levels were off the charts.
Even with the protection of their Purification Sets, there was no guarantee that trace amounts of radioactive dust or residual Energy weren’t still clinging to them.
If that residue were to accumulate or spread in the real world, the consequences would be unimaginable.
’I have to use [Clean Bubble] for a complete, deep-level Purification!’
However, when Seraphina Sullivan focused her thoughts and teleported into the Scavenger’s Space, the sight before her made her freeze, the corner of her mouth twitching involuntarily.
The once-spacious Scavenger’s Farm was now almost completely crammed full by two "small mountains"!
On one side was the massive, withered, and twisted husk of the Mokla Giant Tree.
Even though it had lost all its Life Energy, its sheer size was still astounding, taking up nearly half the Space.
On the other side lay the colossal, train-sized corpse of the Titan Python. Though some of its essence had been drained, the terrifying bulk of its skeleton and remaining flesh remained.
Add to that the Aberrant Rock Bugs she had collected earlier, as well as the pets that already lived there...
The entire Space suddenly seemed unbearably crowded, with barely any room left to set foot.
Looking at this "bountiful harvest" that was about to burst at the seams, Seraphina Sullivan felt both delighted and exasperated. She couldn’t help but press a hand to her forehead and sigh.
’Sigh... I hope the rewards from this ’World Gift’ include an item that can expand my Space’s capacity or optimize its management... Otherwise, my storage is really about to overflow!’
Afterward, Seraphina Sullivan and Sean Chandler meticulously used [Clean Bubble] to scrub themselves clean from head to toe several times over, stopping only when they were certain no radioactive residue remained.
After changing into clean, comfortable clothes and resting for a while to shake off the tension from the instance, Seraphina Sullivan finally reached the most enjoyable part of the process.
Counting the loot.
"Time for the fun part!"
Seraphina Sullivan rubbed her hands together, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
First, she and Sean Chandler compared the main Treasure Chest rewards they had each received from the instance.
Seraphina Sullivan took out two Treasure Chests from her Space, each shimmering with a different luster.
One was silvery-white, its surface covered in fine pinpricks of light that swirled like stardust.
The other was a brilliant gold, looking both regal and substantial.
Upon closer inspection, however, Seraphina Sullivan noticed that the craftsmanship of the silvery-white [World Gift Silver Treasure Box] seemed a cut above the ordinary [Golden Treasure Chest] beside it, hinting at a fundamental difference in "Quality."
’It seems that even if they’re the same Level, the Quality of a ’World Gift’ series Treasure Chest and a regular instance reward chest can be worlds apart,’ Seraphina Sullivan analyzed thoughtfully.
She looked over at Sean Chandler.
Sean Chandler took out his two Treasure Chests as well: one was an antiquated, slightly dim [World Gift Bronze Treasure Box], and the other was a more common [Silver Treasure Chest].
"My contribution was lower mainly because I was following Brandon Barton’s group. He took care of most of the monsters; I was just responsible for crowd control and clean-up," Sean Chandler explained.
