Solomon Ennis’s gaze swept over Seraphina Sullivan and Sean Chandler.
Finally, it landed on the peculiar-looking Flora Sullivan.
A hint of curiosity and even stronger interest flashed in his eyes.
"A kill menu?"
Seraphina latched onto the term and looked at Dustin Sullivan.
Dustin Sullivan’s voice was icy. "It’s a list Solomon Ennis made himself. He records the names of any famous or powerful Players he takes a liking to—the ones he wants to hunt. He euphemistically calls it a ’menu’ for his own enjoyment. It’s the logic of a complete and utter madman."
After hearing the explanation, Seraphina was even more baffled.
She also couldn’t help but feel a sense of the absurd.
"This guy... he’s certainly got a unique sense of style. A kill list is a kill list, why call it a menu? Is he going to sort them into appetizers, main courses, and desserts?"
’Who does he think he is, Hannibal?’
Beside her, Flora Sullivan tilted her head.
Imitating a tone she had learned from a TV show, she commented in an innocent voice.
"Wow! I love it. So much ceremony, just like a supervillain! Maybe I should take a page from his book and make a gourmet menu. Then, if someone annoys me, I’ll eat them!"
Seraphina: ’The real Hannibal is right here next to me.’
Coco Sullivan: ???
She quickly tugged on Flora Sullivan’s arm.
"Flora!" she said urgently. "This is no time for jokes! That man is strong—incredibly dangerous! He’s not just playing a part. He actually kills people, and he does it in the most brutal ways."
Flora Sullivan pouted dismissively:
"No matter how strong he is, he can’t be stronger than my boss!"
Hearing this, Seraphina couldn’t help but cringe.
"Flora... this really isn’t the time to be drawing aggro onto me, your boss..."
Although she was indeed confident in her own strength.
But she didn’t want to needlessly become the primary target of someone who was so obviously a madman.
Sean Chandler had been observing calmly the whole time.
He chose this moment to speak up, drawing everyone’s attention back to the more urgent threat.
"Thinking about all this is useless now. Solomon Ennis is a huge problem, to be sure, but you may have misidentified our most immediate priority."
He pointed down at the Large Group·Aggregation zombie, which had already formed the upper half of its body and was still growing larger at a visibly rapid pace.
"That thing is the most direct and uncontrollable danger to all of us, right here and now."
"The threat it poses—at least in its current form and in this environment—is absolutely greater than that of Solomon Ennis alone."
Seraphina Sullivan also focused her mind.
"Sean’s right. Solomon Ennis is a potential and deadly threat, but that thing down there is a developing disaster that will attack all living things indiscriminately.
If we’re only focused on guarding against Solomon Ennis and let this aggregation take the opportunity to fully form, or get caught in its attack range, the consequences will be unthinkable."
Her gaze swept over Dustin Sullivan and Julian Shaw.
"Besides, since Solomon Ennis is here, his target likely includes this special zombie as well. That means we, and it—or rather, everyone here and that thing—are now in a temporary three-way, or even multi-way, standoff."
"What we need to be thinking about now is how to achieve our objective—or at least retreat safely—in this complicated situation."
Below, the roars of the aggregation zombie grew ever more piercing as its massive body absorbed and fused with several thousand more zombies.
A giant arm made of countless zombies pieced together had already taken shape.
The massive arm slammed into the ground, causing a tremor that shook the very earth.
