Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse novel Chapter 4752

Chapter 4752: Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum II

The glimmer of Phonemes shining around him with majesty that none here recognized. His words reminding all those present that his claim made him among the select company of THE Creature and THE Living Paradox and THE Primordial Chaos.

His dominant gaze.

His blazing eyes.

His words that made him look utterly glorious!

His body billowed with liquid flames that seemed to pour from his very existence! Blue-gold fire of concentrated Mana spilled from his nose and mouth with every breath, as if he was releasing immensity at every second!

He looked like a fiend descending to deliver judgment.

He looked like something that should not be challenged.

He looked like an Absolute.

All of this gave him an extremely enticing and magnetic allure!

Momentarily, even the distant Gilgamesh felt something stir within him. The First Leader who never felt fear found his blood beginning to flow with possibility. His eyes shone with calculations that had not existed moments before.

Could this entity actually be what he claimed?

Could THE First Tongue have truly produced something on this level?

And THE Weavers...

A flash of surprise flickered across those decrepit faces!

A moment of hesitation as they looked at him closely!

Immensity gathered around them as if they were questioning themselves, questioning what they perceived, questioning whether this confrontation would proceed as they had originally planned!

And in that hesitation.

The moment Noah looked into those decrepit faces and golden pupils and saw that brief flash of uncertainty...

He raised his hand.

THE Absolute Seal of Infinity began to spin above his palm, burning with patterns of boundlessness that made space itself groan!

"When you fuck around..."

His voice carried across the Wastes with the inevitability of judgment being delivered.

"Eventually, you find out."

HUUM!

The distant Gilgamesh and the weaker THE entities from THE Loom stepped back slightly!

The weight of his words and Seals pressed against their existence with force that demanded respect!

And...!

And...!

WAP!

As everyone waited to see what this entity on the caliber of THE Creature and THE Living Paradox and THE Primordial Chaos would do...

Neon light flickered!

He, Skoll, and the shocked Lumivara and stern Ul’moreth disappeared!

Gone in an instant!

Extracted from the confrontation with speed that left afterimages of neon flame burning in the corrupted air!

...!

"...!"

Gilgamesh was astonished.

He froze completely, his ancient mind struggling to process what had just occurred. An entity had appeared, claimed Absolute status, displayed power that seemed to support that claim...

And then ran away?

And momentarily, THE Weavers also paused!

Their golden eyes flickered with confusion that beings of their classification rarely experienced. Their decrepit faces twisted with expressions that cycled through surprise, uncertainty, and then...

Understanding.

They had been played.

This entity had never intended to fight.

This entity had used presence and words and displayed power to create a moment of hesitation, a window of opportunity, and then exploited it with speed that should not have been possible for someone of his apparent classification.

An instant later...

BOOM!

An utterly overpowering and immense aura spilled from THE Weavers like an endless sea!

The Wastes around them cracked and fractured under the pressure of their fury! Reality itself screamed as three Absolutes released their suppressed authority in response to being deceived!

Their faces showed anger that had not touched them in eons!

Their voices spoke in unison, three ancient beings expressing the same sentiment as one!

"VILE!"

BOOM!

The word carried weight that would have collapsed anything below THE Fundamental Depth instantly!

An instant after, the Wastes around them fractured like broken mirrors!

THE Weavers disappeared, giving chase toward a direction only they could perceive! Their authority over fate and potentiality allowed them to track the threads of possibility that connected their quarry to their destination!

"Master! You were gone for such a long time! For eons I waited! For so many years... and... and...!"

|Skoll is fastest in Existence!|

"You have grown, Little Anomaly."

"Even that doesn’t seem right at this moment... The First Anomaly? The Tongue Anomaly? Mmm... The Mana Anomaly?"

"Either way, a lot has changed from Ginnungagap, but here we are again."

Here they were again.

Noah patted Lumivara as he looked toward Ul’moreth with a smile. He glanced back behind them where the allure of an Absolute felt infinitely close, but it had not arrived before their perception just yet.

He replied calmly.

"Here we are again. Last time, Absolutes were converging around us in Ginnungagap, and this time, it seems about the same. We just have to get past it ourselves."

His eyes blazed with certainty.

"There’s a lot of time to catch up on, but first... is survival. You’ll see a few things here and there, so don’t be too surprised."

Yes!

One had to be ready for surprises!

At this moment, Noah was making a straight beeline toward THE Corrupted Vault of Ginnungagap!

Not because of THE Secretive Eon, no.

He knew she wouldn’t move a hand to help. The simulation had proven that definitively. She would watch him struggle and fall without lifting a finger unless the price was right.

No.

He was going to the same location another body of his had arrived at. The entrance in the Stoa of Dogmata where he was supposed to save the Disciple of THE Secretive Eon.

An entity of THE Fundamental Depth.

And yet even Eon could not go to save her Disciple.

She had said THE Fallout had corrupted many things in an obscene manner. That there were Corrupted Domains with strange Weavings of Existence that didn’t follow conventional logic.

That there was a region ahead that likely nullified power through some ancient methodology.

Perhaps it stripped away accumulated Weight.

Perhaps it enforced a baseline state on all who entered.

Perhaps it did something else entirely.

These were all words Eon had said to him when she showed him the fairy-like image of her Disciple who had gotten stuck in that place!

And Eon herself did not enter to retrieve her.

She said it was for one reason or another, but what was real and what was fake?

In Noah’s mind, a place an Absolute did not wish to enter because of whatever undeniable effect such a Corrupted region had... would be a place THE Weavers would think twice before entering!

And if they did enter?

His body there had already done a partial simulation for what he could expect in that location!

If THE Weavers did enter it... it may very well be their coffin!
