Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse novel Chapter 4827

Chapter 4827: They Have Fallen! II

Chaos’ eyes blazed with coldness.

"THE Secretive Eon has fallen. THE Living Quantum has fallen. THE Living Dimensional has fallen. THE Living Temporal has fled across time itself, partially infected and possibly beyond salvation."

He looked at each of them in turn.

"None of you stand a chance of resisting this infection if it reaches you. I do not say this to diminish your power or your pride. I say this because it is truth. I am THE Primordial Chaos, and I could barely sense and resist. I could only flee. If THE Entity claims you, there will be no fighting back. There will be no last stand. There will simply be darkness, and then something else will wear your face while you cease to exist entirely."

His voice dropped to something almost gentle.

"You will steer clear of those infected. You will remain in Alfheimr for now, where THE Creature’s Weavings provide some measure of protection. You will not attempt heroics. You will not attempt reconnaissance. You will survive, because the dead, or in this case the replaced, cannot contribute to finding a solution."

...!

The reactions to Chaos’s words were immediate.

Emotive, who had been bouncing with manic energy moments before, turned silent and contemplative. Her emotions stopped cycling. Her smile faded. She stood perfectly still for perhaps the first time since Noah had seen her, processing the implications of what she had just heard with a seriousness that seemed almost foreign on her features.

Elemental became somber, his Phonemes slowing their rotation as the blood drained from whatever passed for his face. The weight of the threat seemed to press against his foundations with force that made him visibly smaller.

Origin and Hunger looked somber, exchanging glances that spoke of silent communication.

Noah looked at all of these changes with calculating eyes.

Fear was a powerful motivator, even though Absolutes...should not have any sense of fear!

And THE Primordial Chaos had just motivated everyone present to take this threat seriously.

He observed all of this.

But he couldn’t help but turn his gaze to Elemental.

"There is immense danger for everyone."

Noah’s voice cut through the heavy silence with authority that demanded attention.

"But man, the fucker I want to kill is right in front of me."

His illusory eyes locked onto Elemental with intensity that burned.

"You sent me a curse not too long ago, Elemental. You remember that?"

He tilted his head.

"It may not be the time or place, but in the grand scheme of things, you still have to die."

He turned toward THE Primordial Chaos.

"Say, O Primordial Chaos. Do you care if Elemental here goes to an early grave?"

...!

"I don’t give a damn who collapses who, just ensuring the infection isn’t spreading or having others here be carriers."

"Actually, the less the better."

"If more Absolutes died, that means fewer Absolutes to join the army of THE Entity."

"Ho, this is actually a decent idea?"

BOOM!
