Even moving and breathing felt tough at this moment for Noah.
With every breath he took, even though he didn’t need to take a breath, he felt like he was breathing in all of himself and breathing out all of himself simultaneously. The infinity that had bathed his existence wasn’t something he could simply possess and move on from!
He felt like with every passing moment he was breathing in infinity and expelling infinity, his lungs becoming conduits. It was a unique sensation to have, both exhilarating and terrifying in equal measure.
It would have been ideal to have at least a few minutes to acclimate to the immense changes across his existence.
But he was being forced to do all of this acclimation while being chased by a monstrous creature who could decimate Absolutes with the casual ease of a child crushing insects.
The only reason that he was surviving as long as he was came down to a single factor: the Immensity of Bazuman that could undifferentiate so many things was not working on him because it couldn’t undifferentiate his infinity.
But this creature also held a terrifying Depth.
So the beams of incandescent light chasing after him, those Rays of Undifferentiated Annihilation, would only take one or two direct hits before this body would be crumbled and this temporal traversal would come to an end.
The proto-matter storms around him churned with increasing violence as Noah pushed them to move faster, his infinities directing their flow while he rode their currents like a leaf in a hurricane. Behind him, Bazuman’s countless crimson eyes tracked his trajectory with interest that had transformed into genuine excitement, the horror of a million jaws opening and closing with anticipation as if they were a predator on a particularly enjoyable hunt.
But with every passing instant, Noah acclimated more and more to his existence and the Immensity that it currently carried.
"Oh?"
He asked himself this question as if he didn’t believe what he was perceiving to be true, as he came to grasp something about himself that he tried right away.
Because with infinity bathing everything, it also bathed his Seals of Absolute Tongue that represented his Way and Civilization.
They weren’t just seals anymore.
At this moment, as his figure burning with blue-gold light shot out toward one direction while surrounded by storms of proto-matter, the beams that could collapse and undifferentiate were bypassing more and more of the storm. The proto-matter could only distort their trajectories so much before the weight of Bazuman’s Depth forced them through, and they were about to reach him with devastating impact.
At such a time, Noah flung his arm back.
He threw out a single Absolute Seal of Infinity.
And utmost brilliance ensued right after.
Existential Observation
The Absolute Seals representing your Civilization are now Infinite
They have no limit to their number
They have no constraint on their manifestation
You threw one
Infinity responded
BOOM!
Even though Noah had thrown out a single seal of infinity, in the next moment, a flood of endless seals bloomed out like radiant blue-gold flowers unfurling across the undefined space of THE Prima Indifferentia.
The seals emerged from that single point of release and multiplied endlessly, each one spawning more and more until the entire region behind Noah became a garden of linguistic authority made manifest. They looked like countless blue-gold plum blossoms emerging from his existence, their petals formed from concentrated Phonemes and their centers burning with the weight of his Civilization.
A unique sound bloomed out with the emergence of infinite seals of infinity, a resonance that was simultaneously a whisper and a roar, the sound of one becoming many becoming infinite. The proto-matter around them responded with awe!
The sheer number of the seals was so overwhelming that the terrifying and perilous beams of light stemming from THE Undivided One became covered entirely, their trajectories intersecting with petal after petal after petal of blue-gold authority. They smashed into these seals with force that should have shattered anything below Absolute, and the seals did shatter, breaking apart into motes of linguistic light.
But for every seal that broke, infinity provided another.
And another.
And another.
Momentarily, the entire region looked like a beautiful scene filled with blue-gold scattered plum blossoms, a garden of impossible flowers blooming in a place where gardens had never existed and flowers had never been differentiated. The seals resisted undifferentiation because they were born from infinity, and infinity couldn’t be made less than it was, so they overcame the terrifying light released by THE Undivided One through sheer inexhaustible presence.
But because the Depth of this being was still there, and the density and weight of Noah’s seals was nowhere as immense as this terrifying entity chasing after him...
BOOM!
The beams that had been distorted were reinforced by something far more direct.
Millions of tentacles erupted from Bazuman’s ever-shifting form, each one ending in jaws that gnashed with hunger that transcended normal appetite. They surged through the garden of infinite seals, tearing through the blue-gold blossoms with physical force rather than undifferentiation, using raw Depth to accomplish what conceptual attack could not.
The many crimson eyes of THE Undivided One seemed to show more and more interest toward Noah, gleaming with excitement that made the proto-matter around them tremble with sympathetic dread.
"Little one."
The voice that emerged from Bazuman was wrong in ways that transcended description, coming from everywhere and nowhere simultaneously, formed from concepts that hadn’t fully differentiated into sound.
"Do not struggle."
"Just let me have a taste."
HUUM!
