Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse novel Chapter 4901

Chapter 4901: The Second Cause III

Her form drifted closer to Noah as she spoke.

"Ongatala descended into the waters of nothing. I speak not of metaphor but of literal action that defies easy comprehension. There existed, in those early ages, spaces that held no substance whatsoever. Not emptiness, for emptiness implies the absence of something that could be present. These were waters of nothing, expanses where existence itself had not yet decided whether to manifest. Ongatala entered these spaces willingly, diving deeper and deeper into the void that consumed all definition."

"Within those waters of nothing, Ongatala scattered soil. From where did this soil come? From Ongatala’s own existence. From foundations that Ongatala sacrificed in order to create something greater than self-preservation. Each grain of scattered soil was a piece of Ongatala’s being, distributed across the nothing with intention that demanded reality acknowledge what was being given. And reality, faced with such deliberate sacrifice, had no choice but to comply."

...!

"The scattered soil became the first lands within Ongatala’s own structure. A being who was once singular became a being who contained territories, a being whose internal landscape held mountains and valleys and spaces where other existences could eventually take root. This was differentiation turned inward, a Cause that proved one did not need external Chaos to divide. One could divide oneself and become greater through the division."

"Ongatala’s path demonstrated that the grand acts of existence need not be conquests or external transformations. Sometimes the most profound changes occur within, when a being chooses to become a territory rather than merely occupy one. The lands that Ongatala created within eventually became templates for how internal Civilizations could be structured, how beings could cultivate not just their power but their inner landscapes."

...!

THE Mnemonic Leviathan paused at this moment, and her ancient gaze turned away from Noah. She looked toward the humanoid form of THE Infiniverse who floated in the distance, her other body still working to contain and redirect the corrupted proto-matter that had invaded her master’s domain.

"I find her unique."

Her voice held something that might have been wonder.

"Her weavings remind me of the whispers and stories of Ongatala. A being who chose to become a territory rather than merely occupy one. A being whose internal landscape holds realms and spaces where other existences take root. She is walking a path that echoes across the Scales, whether she knows it or not."

...!

Noah’s eyes became even sharper at these words, his attention now fully locked upon THE Mnemonic Leviathan as she turned back to face him.

"I tell you of Masamuk and Ongatala because what is happening right now, this emergence of corrupted proto-matter across Observable Existence, is something similar. Whoever initiated this is walking a grand path. They are attempting to reshape the fundamental nature of what Observable Existence can be. They are using proto-matter as Masamuk used Chaos, as Ongatala used the waters of nothing. They are attempting a Cause of differentiation through undifferentiation, a paradox... a paradox... a glorious paradox."

Her ancient eyes held weight that pressed against Noah’s existence.

"The Scales of Existence may whisper. They may whisper his name if he is successful in this gambit. Whether that name will be remembered as pioneer or catastrophe remains to be seen. But the magnitude of what is being attempted cannot be denied. Someone is walking in the footsteps of Masamuk and Ongatala. Someone is attempting to reshape existence itself."

BOOM!

Noah’s expression became heavy at these words.

Fuck.

Paradox. Corruption. Change across Observable Existence. Noah instantly honed in on THE Living Paradox as it seemed far too many people were underestimating this being, himself included. THE Living Paradox had now done something or begun embarking on something unfathomably grand!

His own Cause!

Though it wouldn’t be the same as THE First Cause, so was THE Living Paradox attempting a Second Cause? Was that what this terrifying change was? An attempt to reshape Observable Existence itself through flooding it with corrupted proto-matter?

If THE Living Paradox succeeded in whatever his final grand design was...it truly was not clear who would be the victor in this eon long war!

---

At the center of THE Infiniverse, in a realm of concentrated authority that no being but her master could survive, THE Infiniverse worked alone.

Multicolored light suffused everything around her as boundless seas of Infinite Seals of Absolute Tongue swirled and merged and created patterns of power that defied comprehension.

She had been containing. She had been directing. She had been building a domain within herself, yes, but she had been doing so defensively and reactively. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
