Noah gazed at THE Primordial Mycelia occupying the bodies of Eon and Chaos with eyes that burned multicolored Quintessence Infiniforce.
These two figures before him were not truly Eon and Chaos anymore. They were vessels for something that had consumed their individuality and replaced it with shared consciousness that believed itself superior to what it had devoured. They were hollow shells animated by Unity that had forgotten what it meant to be singular, to be distinct, to be irreplaceable.
"I reject your Unity."
His voice emerged with weight.
"I reject what you represent and what you seek to accomplish across Observable Existence. I reject the warm embrace of shared consciousness that dissolves everything unique about a being into undifferentiated sameness. I reject your garden where all flowers bloom identically because none of them remember what it meant to grow differently."
The multicolored rivers of the Pluvial Epoch continued falling around them as he spoke.
"Your Unity takes away all individuality. It erases expression. It consumes ambition and replaces it with contentment that asks nothing and achieves nothing. Every being you claim becomes indistinguishable from every other being you have claimed, their potential flattened into averages that serve your collective rather than reaching for heights that only individuals can perceive."
His eyes blazed with Quintessence Infiniforce that continued generating within his finite foundations.
"In the end, what you offer is a null path. It leads nowhere in the Scales of Civilizations because Civilizations require individual vision to advance. They require conflict between ideas. They require disagreement and competition and the friction that produces growth through struggle. Your Unity eliminates all of these things, and in eliminating them, you eliminate the very mechanism through which existence advances toward something greater."
He looked down at Eon and Chaos with gaze that held neither hatred nor compassion.
"You are not evolution. You...are stagnation wearing the mask of peace."
THE Secretive Eon and THE Primordial Chaos looked up at him simultaneously.
And they spoke with the same voice, their words emerging in perfect unison that declared more clearly than anything else could have that neither of them truly existed anymore as individuals.
"We are alike, you and I."
"You also do not like adversity. I have watched you struggle against it. I have seen you rage against circumstances that forced you to grow through suffering rather than peace. I have observed your desire to advance without the constant threat of annihilation hanging over everything you build."
The unified voice continued without pause.
"I can achieve it. No adversity in entire existence because no conflict. All of us bound under the same shared purpose. Is that not what you really want? Your family, your people, all others in Observable Existence having no conflict? No wars. No extinction events. No Apocalypses. No beings dissolving because they were too weak to survive what existence threw at them."
Eonโs body gestured expansively while Chaosโs body remained still, yet both moved with identical purpose.
"I can unite all beings. Can you imagine it? All Primordial Architects bound in Unity. All Undivided Ones sharing consciousness. All Keys of Civilizations working toward common purpose rather than competing for resources. All lifeforms across Observable Existence connected through bonds that eliminate the possibility of conflict entirely."
The voice grew more enticing with each word.
"THE Second Scale would almost be guaranteed right away. The Civilizations we could build together would be grand beyond anything individual effort could accomplish. Billions of consciousnesses contributing to singular vision. Endless resources directed toward unified advancement. No waste. No competition. No suffering."
The unified voice softened.
"We can share that peace with you and be happy. You do not have to fully join us if you do not want. In all of Unity, you can remain distant. We can give you that choice. We can give you the peace you have always wanted while letting you retain enough separation to feel individual."
The voice carried something approaching genuine offer.
"We... can build something beautiful together."
HUUM!
In the next moment, multicolored brilliance of Quintessence Infiniforce bloomed within THE Secretive Eon.

"Time is a funny thing."
His voice emerged calm despite the violence erupting around them.
