<On the Importance of Hobbies>
In retrospect, holding down a Proterozoic Scale Primordial Architect while his friend methodically butchered him was one of the more memorable bonding experiences Noah had in Observable Existence.
There is something to be said for shared activities.
Some friends cultivate together. Some explore Primordial Realms together. Some engage in philosophical discourse about the nature of Infinity and what it means for existence itself. Noah and Alexander chose to anchor a Second Scale torturer with nine spears while one of them systematically activated every pain receptor in his body across millions of years of subjective suffering.
Different strokes...for different folks.
The point is that one must make time for hobbies. Existence is long, particularly when one possesses Infinity, and the relationships that sustain a being across eons are not built through grand declarations or dramatic oaths alone.
They are built through moments. Through experiences. Through looking at one’s companion while he is elbow-deep in the chest cavity of a screaming Primordial Architect and thinking..."Yes. This is quality time."
It is said that friendship requires effort.
It is said that meaningful connections demand investment.
Noah held down a being at THE Second Scale so that his friend could repay millions of years of torture in kind, and he broadcast the entire thing across Observable Existence for everyone to see.
If that is not investment, what is?
Take time for your hobbies. Cherish your friendships. And if those hobbies happen to involve the systematic dismantling of those who wronged the people you care about, well.
At least you are doing it together.

<Prima Indifferentia>
The multicolored seas of Prima Indifferentia embraced THE Living Emotive as she floated through waters that should not have existed in this ancient realm.
Her loose clothing billowed around her form, dark fabric spreading through the transformed liquid like ink dissolving in water. Her curvaceous body with its many blessings could barely be seen!
The Pluvial Epoch of Existential Infinity had reached even here, filling basins that had been empty since before differentiation taught existence how to distinguish itself. She swam with lazy strokes that suggested meditation rather than travel, her body drifting through warmth that pressed against her skin with authority she recognized as belonging to someone specific.
His authority, hs Infinity, his touch spreading across Observable Existence and reaching her here!
Above the transformed seas, illusory screens blazed with images that demanded her attention. They displayed a battlefield where multicolored seas had been erased entirely, where a massive Primordial Architect hung suspended by nine spears that should not have been capable of anchoring anything at THE Second Scale. They showed two figures standing upon that anchored form, one observing with tyrannical calm while the other worked with hands that had become crimson.
Osmont and a nobody by his side were torturing a Primordial Architect.
The manic light in Emotive’s eyes blazed brighter as she watched.
Her lips parted in expression that might have been smile or might have been hunger. The screens captured every detail with clarity that spared nothing. Beowulf’s screams. The guy’s precision. And Osmont, standing there with golden rivers of Observable force swirling around his form, overseeing the dismantling of a Primordial Architect.
He was magnificent! He was terrifying.
He was everything she had ever wanted and could not yet reach.
In Existence, there were many unique and talented beings scattered across Observable and Unobservable alike.
But those who made the most advancements were not always the most talented.
They were those with tremendous conviction. Those who believed in something so completely that reality itself bent around their certainty rather than the other way around. Those who looked at impossible gaps and saw only distances that had not yet been crossed. Talent mattered, certainly. Resources mattered!
"To even get close to you, I will need to be so much more."
"So with my Claim on Chaos, with my Bond to THE Creature and THE Living Paradox...I truly and fully pull on all the negative emotions across Observable Existence for the first time since THE Infinite Unfurling."
"This time, all emotions where Chaos spreads. From Primordial Architects. From Undivided Ones. From anything in any corner of Observable Existence pertaining to emotions and the chaos they hold. From all of Existence and Paradox..."
"Give them all to me."
