Chapter 5077: The Silurian Light I

Grimvault looked at Noah coldly.

The pale fires burning in that wolf skull helm had ceased their flickering, holding steady with intensity. Whatever shock Noah’s words had provoked, the Primordial Architect had processed it and moved beyond. Ancient beings did not linger on surprises. They adapted and continued.

"We have always known the one who bears Infinity so freely is capable."

His deep voice pressed against everything within range with authority that made the air itself thicken.

"You being able to perceive information like this is certainly unique."

Those pale fires studied Noah’s form.

"Are you similar to that other anomaly, Erwin? We have also grasped him to have something to do with information."

...!

Noah’s eyes shone sharply at those words.

They had found out about Erwin as THE Information Paradox?

Grimvault held his Axiom weapon loosely in one massive gauntlet, that greatsword of light-drinking metal resting against the destroyed air as if it weighed nothing despite its colossal size. He smiled brutally beneath that wolf skull helm before nodding toward Naldine with acknowledgment that held mockery beneath its apparent respect.

"Do you know why THE Whorish Naldine does not wish for you to fight me?"

The designation made Naldine’s fingers pause on her strings for a fraction of an instant.

"Apart from the obvious discrepancy in power you may potentially be able to make up with Infinity ever so briefly."

He stepped forward, his massive armored form moving with grace that contradicted its size.

"The reason is the power that true Proterozoic Scale entities hold. Not those merely at Rhyacian, scratching at the surface of what advancement actually means. You see, once you continue up this Scale of Existence enough, grasp some tidbits of Infinity and the force of nature that is Observable, have a decent number of Proterozoic Bones, and you begin to truly become in tune with existence itself, you can begin to grasp something greater."

His pale fires burned brighter as he spoke.

"THE Pulse of The Scales."

BOOM!

Grimvault raised his arms upward as if he were a priest distilling grand knowledge to congregations that had gathered to receive wisdom from mouths they could not comprehend. His blackened silver armor caught the multicolored light of the surrounding storm, that fused flesh and metal seeming almost beautiful in the illumination despite the horror of its composition.

"Capabilities that distinguish you from all other lesser things," he continued with voice that pressed against reality with force that made the suspended rain droplets tremble. "Pulses that only those who have achieved true distinction within THE Second Scale can perceive, let alone utilize. There are many such Pulses scattered across the methodologies of Proterozoic advancement, scattered across Existence...but one stands above most others in its significance."

"One Pulse that nearly every knowledgeable Proterozoic Scale entity seeks to learn is known to us as THE Silurian Light."

"Named after THE Silurian Cause, a fiery type of First Cause capable of forming an Observable Existence in its entirety. Even I do not understand the true intricacies of what THE Silurian Cause actually is or was. Some believe it predates THE First Cause that formed our Observable Existence. Others believe it exists parallel to all First Causes, a template from which creation itself learned how to create."

"What matters is that those who grasp THE Pulse of The Scales deeply enough can learn to channel a fraction of that primordial fire. A fraction that, when applied correctly, does not merely kill."

"It erases."

"THE Silurian Light does not simply end an existence," Grimvault continued, his voice taking on the cadence of one who had delivered this explanation before, who had watched the faces of those he explained it to shift from confusion to horror to despair. "It unravels causality itself. When someone is consumed by this Pulse, their entire causality within the weavings of existence is pulled free, and everything that causality touched comes undone."

"Consider what that means. Every action the erased being ever took ceases to have occurred. Every choice they made unmakes itself. Every consequence that flowed from their existence reverberates backward through time and probability, collapsing into configurations that exclude their participation entirely."
