And at such a time, Noah actually turned his gaze behind him.
He locked eyes with Naldine, observing her expression shift. Her fingers remained poised over the strings of her Vihuela. Her singularity-dotted eyes held intensity that demanded he choose wisely.
"The next few seconds are going to be very critical ones."
HUUM!
His calm words were an answer, though not the answer anyone present had expected.
He could have chosen to say many things. He could have accepted the diplomacy Grimvault offered, could have released Beowulf and retreated to fight another day, could have recognized that three Proterozoic Scale entities including one at the Calymmian Tier represented a threat he could not overcome regardless of his Infinity.
He chose none of those options.
Behind him, a shimmering golden crack of existence bloomed into being.
The crack appeared in the fabric of reality itself, multicolored light bleeding through the fracture. Massive hands appeared at the edges of that crack, fingers the size of buildings grasping the boundaries of the opening. Those hands tore the crack wide, ripping existence apart to create space sufficient for what was coming through.

Source: THE Hadean Desmoterion.
Status: Emerging into Observable Existence.
An utter wonder stepped out.
Ozymandias emerged from the golden crack with presence that pressed against everything within range. His form was titanic, a humanoid configuration of muscle and authority that dwarfed even Grimvault’s massive armored frame. His skin held the same complexion as Noah’s, stretched over musculature that had been cultivated across Civilizational Eons of Development. His features bore resemblance to Noah’s own, the same bone structure, the same set of the jaw, the same shape of the eyes, though scaled to proportions that made the similarity somewhat unsettling.
He floated inches away from Noah’s body, their two faces being somewhat alike in ways that declared their connection without requiring explanation.

The aura of a thick and heavy Second Scale permeated across the body of Ozymandias.
It pressed against everything within range with authority that declared his classification to all who could perceive it. His Proterozoic Bones radiated light that shone through his flesh, his right leg blazing gold, his right arm matching that brilliance, his skull illuminating from within with intensity that painted nearby space in hues of multicolored authority. And beyond those bones, his Proterozoic Organ pulsed with power that exceeded what most Second Scale entities possessed.
His head illuminated with terrifying light.
Current Perception State: One instant stretched toward infinity.
Everything seemed to freeze!
Grimvault’s brutal smile remained fixed in place, those pale fires in his wolf skull helm suspended mid-flicker. Sammarthiel’s wings of swords hung motionless, thousands of blades neither rising nor falling. Vahrkosis’s serpentine coils had ceased their undulation, forty-seven arms frozen in positions that suggested readiness for violence that would not arrive until perception returned to normal speed.
The multicolored rain hung suspended in the air around them!
The screams of Beowulf had paused mid-sound, that note of agony stretched into silence that would resume when infinity concluded!
Noah observed this frozen landscape, this moment stretched beyond what moments were designed to contain. He sighed with breath that felt like it could last for centuries if he wished it to.
In his perception, he had days or months if he wished in this span of an infinity. Even though he did not freeze anyone or anything, even though external reality continued at its normal pace, he could experience this single instant as an eternity of contemplation.
But such a space was not meant for rest.
"Hey."
His voice emerged within this stretched moment, audible only to himself and those he chose to include.
"You say you are here to be by my side and help me so that the Splintering of Observable Existence does not occur, but why keep such good material like THE Pulse of The Scales away from me?"
...!
