Noah and Ozymandias reached Grimvault in the span of a heartbeat, both bodies closing the distance with speed. The wolf-helmed Primordial Architect observed their approach with those pale fires burning in his empty eye sockets, and he raised his Axiom greatsword with a casual motion that suggested he found their charge more entertaining than threatening.
"I will beat you to paste first," Grimvault declared, his deep voice pressing against reality itself, "and collect what remains of your weavings to bring to THE Wyld. There, they will study what made you so interesting before your existence ends."
His greatsword descended with a terrifying force that warped the space around its trajectory.
"Here is my pure Civilization. Just feel it!"
BOOM!
The impact was devastating.
Noah’s transformed right hand, THE Hadean Hand of Infinite Grasp, caught the flat of that descending blade alongside Ozymandias’s matching grip. Seas of blue Infinity converged on their palms as they met the weapon of a Calymmian Tier entity, that impossible force pressing against hands that should have been obliterated by mere proximity to such power.
Quintessence Infiniforce blazed from both bodies in configurations of multiple colors, the endless generation of his unique force type flooding outward in response to the strain being placed upon his existence!
Golden Observable force surged within Noah’s foundations as Eon’s connection provided density that his Bounded classification couldn’t naturally produce.
And then the impact truly registered.
Both Noah and Ozymandias buzzed with sensation that transcended pain, their connected existence vibrating at frequencies that existence wasn’t designed to accommodate. In that instant, it felt like every bone in their bodies was about to break. Every single one. Not cracking or fracturing but shattering entirely, reduced to powder beneath force that Calymmian entities wielded as casually as normal beings might swing a stick.
Noah felt every cell preparing to rupture as the pain was unfathomable!
Pain! Pain! PAIN!
His skin wanted to tear. His muscles wanted to liquefy. His organs wanted to burst apart into configurations that could no longer be called organs. The force Grimvault had delivered through that single swing was enough to extinguish First Scale entities by the thousands, and he’d taken it directly into his hands.
But Observable force surged.
Golden light flooded into every cell that was breaking, into every structure that was failing, into every component of his existence that Grimvault’s attack was destroying. The concentration was terrifying, density exceeding anything he’d experienced before as Eon’s enhanced connection provided resources that his Bounded classification could never have generated independently.
The cells regenerated instantly.
New cells replaced destroyed ones before destruction could complete. His bones were breaking and reforming simultaneously, his organs were rupturing and rebuilding in the same instant, his entire existence was undergoing cycles of annihilation and rebirth compressed into spans so short that objective time couldn’t properly measure them.
He paradoxically underwent simultaneous destruction and rebirth of all cells while also not undergoing either, both states existing in the same moment through depths of his Civilization he could now perceive at five percent access. THE First Tongue was the language of Existence itself, and at five percent, he could speak words of self-definition that rewrote what was happening to his body even as it happened.
And when that paradox resolved, every cell in his body was blindingly new.
Grander than what had existed before.
All bones within his body began to shine simultaneously.
Miniature Cause Triggered.
Classification: THE Crucible of Observable Rebirth.
Nature: Internal evolutionary acceleration.
Unlike something like THE Pluvial Epoch of Existential Infinity which produces external phenomena across Observable Existence, this Cause operates strictly within your existence. External force of sufficient magnitude triggers accelerated transformation. The greater the force received, the more comprehensive the evolution.
Initial Catalyst: Impact from Calymmian Tier Proterozoic Scale entity.
Result: Force sufficient to extinguish your existence has instead catalyzed universal Hadean transformation.
All bones within your existence are now being saturated with Observable force and Quintessence Infiniforce at concentrations exceeding previous parameters.
Current Progress: All Bones toward Hadean Classification: 3%.
...!
Oh!
Noah and Ozymandias both roared.
BOOM!
They rebuffed the immense strike, pushing Grimvault’s Axiom greatsword away from their shining palms with force that shouldn’t have been possible from beings at their classification. The wolf-helmed Primordial Architect didn’t stumble, didn’t even shift his stance, but those pale fires in his empty eye sockets flickered with something that might have been surprise.
Then he smiled.
That wolf skull helm somehow conveyed amusement despite possessing no features capable of expression, and when he spoke, his deep voice held genuine entertainment.
"Interesting."
He lowered his greatsword slightly, observing the golden light radiating from Noah’s existence.
"It seems you really are something unique in Observable Existence. How can you survive the pure force of Calymmian? For a second there, I thought I felt like I destroyed everything of your small body."
His smile widened beneath that helm.
"Come, take another strike! A true strike!"
BOOM!
Grimvault swung his Axiom weapon again, and this time it shone with light that seemed to contain depths beyond what the previous attack had carried. The greatsword blazed with authority that declared its nature to anyone capable of perceiving it, the complete Axiom that Noah had detected during his initial analysis now revealing capabilities that simple observation couldn’t have predicted.
Noah and Ozymandias raised their shining hands to meet the blow.
As if Grimvault was a hammer and they were weapons being forged, they would use his attacks to refine themselves.
BOOM!
The impact landed with force exceeding the previous strike, and Noah once more felt every cell within his body nearly extinguish, or really, paradoxically fully extinguish and not extinguish. Golden light of Observable force actually formed into liquid seas around his existence as he sought to resist power grander than before.
But something was different this time.
The Axiom Grimvault carried held a devastating light that seemed to bring cycles upon cycles of destruction, attacks replicating within the span of the initial impact in configurations that normal weapons couldn’t produce.
Axiom Identified: THE Octogenary Echo.
Classification: Complete Axiom of Multiplicative Force.
Capability: Any force exerted through this weapon is replicated 81 times within the span of 1 nanosecond following initial contact.
Current Status: Replication sequence initiating.
You will experience the full force of Grimvault’s strike 81 times in the next nanosecond.
Brace yourself.
...!
The blows came.

Eighty. Eighty-one.
