Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse novel Chapter 5339

Chapter 5339: Source! II

Her speed climbed, approaching his own, the Infinite Anomalous Source Factor in her perhaps already copying something of the chickens’ movement, and the two of them chased the obsidian birds across the farm in earnest.

Noah deployed his Causes. THE Prime Cause of Tyranny erupted from him, the foundational truth of hierarchy commanding the chickens to be still, to freeze the way he had frozen the final Ragnar.

The chickens shrugged it off.

They shrugged off Tyranny!

They pecked at Source Herbs while the command that had frozen a Fourth Scale Ragnar washed over them like a mild breeze, and one of them had the audacity to scratch at the dirt with one talon, entirely unbothered.

Noah stopped chasing and started thinking.

Speed would not catch the fastest lifeforms in existence. Force would not freeze beings that ignored Tyranny. So he would not use speed or force. He activated THE Domain of the Genesis Monarch’s principle in miniature, but the farm was not his domain. Instead he reached for Hamingja, the grand luck of his Einherjar Source, the golden light that rewrote surrounding existence to favor him, and rather than chasing a chicken, he simply moved to where existence, favoring him, would cause a chicken to be!

HUUM!

He did not pursue. He arrived. He let his fortune position his hand at the one coordinate where an arrogant obsidian bird, dodging Seo-yeon’s enthusiastic lunge, would step backward without looking.

His hand closed on obsidian feathers.

The chicken squawked in pure outrage, the indignant sound of the fastest lifeform in existence discovering it had been caught not by speed but by luck, and radiant obsidian light flooded into Noah’s existence!

|Absorption initiated. You are absorbing a tremendous amount of the Stable Isotope of THE Primordial Source from contact with the Unknown Source Lifeform.|

|Reaction confirmed: The high concentrations of Pure Primordial Essence within your existence are sufficient to react with the absorbed isotope. The reaction is beginning to generate your own Pure Primordial Source.|

BOOM!

The reaction began deep within Noah’s existence, in the place where his foundations held the thousandfold-amplified Pure Primordial Essence, and the Stable Isotope of THE Primordial Source poured into that reservoir and met it.

The two did not simply mix. They reacted. The Pure Primordial Essence, the undifferentiated energy of the state before existence chose what it would be, met the isotope of THE Primordial Source, and somewhere in the meeting, something began to differentiate. Something began to become. Noah felt it gather and build, felt the Essence and the isotope fold into each other and resolve toward a new thing, and then he sensed it.

That obsidian!

That glorious sensation! 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

It pulsed, deep and ancient, trying again and again to spark some further reaction, the budding Source and the Infinity striking against each other in a slow rhythmic effort to ignite something larger. It felt like an ancient heart had begun beating in his foundations for the first time, each beat reaching for a reaction it had not yet achieved, patient and relentless, the start of a process whose end no prompt could predict.

His body floated back down to the farm.

Seo-yeon looked up at him with shining eyes and clapped, delighted, bouncing on her toes at the brilliant light show even though she did not fully grasp what she had just helped him reach. Sir William and Dame Seraphine looked at each other, both of their eyes bright with the recognition of something significant, before Dame Seraphine stepped forward.

Her body crackled with power as she moved, THE Mesozoic Scale pressure she carried billowing outward in waves that pressed across the entire farm.

"Okay," she said. "Okay! The final thing for you to be cleared as mission-ready is for me to personally judge you myself. Sir William’s account told me much. The Oath told me more. And now, with THE Primordial Source beginning to bloom inside you, of all things, I find I genuinely want to see it for myself."

She raised her radiant obsidian sword.

"Let us see where you stand. You cannot defeat me, understand that clearly. I am a full Scale above you and that gap is not one your talent closes today. But you do not need to defeat me. We only need to gauge exactly what you are made of, how you fight, how you endure, whether you have the strength to keep yourself alive when existence comes for you." Her obsidian eyes blazed with anticipation, and her smile turned fierce and delighted. "This is the special treatment."

Billowing waves of power surrounded her, her graceful armored figure becoming gloriously imposing, the suffocating weight of THE Mesozoic Scale filling the farm until even the obsidian chickens stopped their arrogant pecking and went still.

"Haha!"
