Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse novel Chapter 5460

Chapter 5460: Osmont!

The changes had settled into him like weight into a foundation, and Noah wanted the full accounting.

"Ruination," he said, standing in the calm grove beneath the burning first letter. "Show me the full scope of my current power. All of it."

Noah read the panel through once, slowly, and nodded.

The shape of himself sat plainly in front of him, every facet graded, every next step priced. Most of it could wait. His attention settled on one line and stayed there, because the Tongue could hold more Letters, and he already knew exactly what the second one was.

That was the strange gift of staying true. Other beings would have agonized over the choice, weighing truths against truths, hunting for the optimal word. Noah had nothing to hunt. When a language was built entirely out of who you were, the letters wrote themselves in order, and the second truth of him had been waiting behind the first since the day he was born. He only had to implement it.

He felt the vibrant waves of immensity turning inside him, three First Causes’ worth of consumed potential feeding the backbone of the language, and he raised his finger, and began to write.

The character formed in the air stroke by stroke, cerulean light following his fingertip through the falling mana. It was angular and flowing at once, kin to the first letter, turning back through itself in the lemniscate way, and every line of it carried a truth so plain that existence had no grounds to argue. The first letter had declared that he was. The second declared what he was.

The word it translated to was one he had carried his whole life.

OSMONT.

"I AM... OSMONT!"

BOOM!

|The second Letter of THE Osmontian Tongue has been declared. OSMONT. Where the first Letter asserted your existence, the second asserts your identity by name, and the two Letters now function as one compound truth. I AM OSMONT. Existence has accepted the declaration.|

|Defense: the compound declaration manifests Infinite Dimensional Osmontian Auras. They rise as raging, colorful auras of layered light, folded through dimensions beyond the ordinary reach of an attack, and they defend the name itself. Anything striking at what is Osmont must first argue with the declaration, and the declaration does not lose arguments at its own grade. These Auras also manifest silently and invisibly upon all who carry your name, and upon those bound most closely to your weavings, whether or not they stand near you, whether or not they know.|
