<THE True Human Emperor>
Sensing, it turned out, was not so simple in a place like this.
When Noah had asked Seo-yeon about dying Causes, his daughter had closed her eyes upon the golden sands and reached out with the gift that had once felt Chernobyl grieving across an entire Observable Existence. And after a long moment, her small brows had furrowed.
"I can barely feel... something, Aba. But it’s all murky. Veiled!" She had opened her eyes with visible frustration. "It’s like listening for a song underwater. This place is too heavy and too old. I think... I think I need to adapt to it first."
So Noah had not pushed.
He had simply lifted her onto the wide handle of his golden throne, and there she sat now with her legs crossed and her eyes closed, mirrored light drifting faintly off her small frame as she sensed and adapted and sensed again, hour after hour as their island of dream-sand drifted across the storming dark of THE Krazhor-Nul.
And while his daughter listened for dying songs... Noah decided to work.
For his mind had been circling THE Tide That Owes Nothing ever since Straif settled into it. The Foundation returned three thousand to twenty thousandfold on what was given, and its Sharpened Returns honed every boon toward what served him most! The math of it was almost embarrassing. Giving was the single most profitable act in his entire arsenal, and yet he had been treating it passively, waiting for moments of gifting to arise on their own!
Why wait?! Why not manufacture generosity at scale?
Farming. Blacksmithing. Crafting! If he produced treasures with his own hands and gifted them to his own people, the Tide would answer every single gift, and its Sharpened Returns would answer with things he could then gift again or wield himself! And the ultimate goal glimmered clearly at the end of that chain: to place items in the hands of his people that let them express the power of True Lifeforms, even if they themselves could not yet become True!
If they could not yet be True... he would forge them Trueness they could wear.
"Infiniverse," Noah said as he rose from his throne. "Handle the farming. Herbs and Ores..."
"Gladly, Master!" Her manifestation smiled.
THE Infiniverse itself was vast and filled with thousands of Realms filled with farmland. Osmontian Source Infinite Herbs would simply need to be ushered and matured!
And Noah conjured his forge.
HUUM!
It rose out of the dream-sands before him, an ancient friend from some time ago given new grandeur, an anvil the size of a hill set beside a furnace whose mouth burned with churning Osmontian Source Infinity, cerulean flames wrapped around a core of his own Intent as chimneys of black stone vented sparks of pure blue into the storm! Racks of gleaming tools framed it. Quenching pools of liquid starlight steamed beside it!
He named it as he looked upon it.
THE Quintessential Osmontian Forge!
Then THE True Human Emperor rolled his shoulders, took up a great hammer from the racks, and got to work!
His hands reached out across the passing dark of THE Krazhor-Nul as they flew, plucking everything their island crossed! Ancient trees of petrified silver from the fossil valleys. Stones veined with the third unnamed essense of the storm-rain. Ores that THE Infiniverse condensed from their passage, chunks of fallen star-matter, boughs of obsidian wood harvested carefully and far from any cursed fruit. All of it flowed into the furnace’s cerulean mouth as Noah infused every raw material of this Dimension with rivers of his Osmontian Source Infinity and the seamless weight of his Intent!
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
The hammer rose and fell as the storm above seemed to keep rhythm.
Metal that had never known shape learned it beneath his hands as blades stretched out upon the anvil, glowing blue-gold before plunging into starlight pools with screams of steam. Armor plates curved into being like the petals of iron flowers. Spearheads. Shields. Gauntlets and greaves and helms, each one drinking his Osmontian Source Infinity, each one carrying a whisper of his Intent folded a thousand times into its grain, and he deemed this new class of creations with a craftsman’s simple pride!
Advanced Apeiron Armaments!
THE Infiniverse worked beside him through it all, her hands feeding the furnace as she infused ores and materials from her many realms as well, with her humming softly while she passed her Master his materials!
And upon the throne’s handle, Seo-yeon sensed on with closed eyes as Emotive kept watch over her and their surroundings both, though it had to be said that Emotive’s watching kept drifting, again and again, to the forge itself, where Noah had shed his upper robes and worked the hammer with his muscular frame gleaming under cerulean sparks, and her manic eyes gleamed right back with unhidden appreciation as she sighed happily at every strike!
Time passed.
"For you."
"For me?!" Emotive lit up like a detonation as she accepted blade after blade, armor after armor, hugging the entire pile to her chest with her manic eyes shining! She had the Amaranthine Heart seated in Noah’s own chest and power enough to disorient True Lifeforms, and she cradled the gifted armaments as if each one was the first present anyone had ever given her! "Mine! All mine, from your own hands!"
