<THE Creature>
Where did he end?
The question walked with him across the storming dark of THE Krazhor-Nul, as it had walked with him across every era since THE Wyld. His titanic body moved through the raging skies wrapped in obsidian flames, fossil ranges and drifting mountains sliding past beneath him, and the question turned itself over in his silence.
He was Existence. This was not philosophy, it was anatomy! His Pantheon took the shape of whatever surrounded him because whatever surrounded him was, in the deepest accounting, already his. The bone seas were him. The storm was him. The million-mile trees and the cursed rain and the ancient graves, all of it existence, and all of existence...him.
And yet.
Was the curse woven through this Dimension him? The curse clung to every string of this place, a sentence spoken by Those Who Remain, and when his flames passed through it, it did not feel like touching himself. It felt foreign! Like finding a scar on one’s back that one never remembered earning. And the statue, the inherited thing that rose when he called and stared where it pleased, was that him? It answered him. It was his. And yet every time it moved on its own, something in his ancient frame said borrowed, said debt!
Up to which point was it all him? And past which point did Existence become something foreign wearing his name?
He had no answer.
"Hm," THE Creature said to the storm, and kept walking.
And then he sensed it!
A grand aura of existence, far across the dark, old and vast and utterly still, the particular stillness of something mighty that had stopped being alive a very long time ago. His flat eyes narrowed as his path bent toward it, obsidian flames trailing behind his titanic strides, and the geography changed beneath him as he crossed, dark stone giving way to shores of rust-colored crystal, and then to the sea.
A vast red sea!
It stretched to every horizon beneath the storm, waters the deep arterial color of old blood, waves rolling slow and heavy as if the sea itself remembered grief. And upon those red waters, floating like a fallen mountain range...
Was a leg.
A single colossal severed leg, its pale flesh unrotted across what may have been ages, its scale so vast that clouds gathered around its heel, and the grandeur pouring off of it pressed upon the entire sea!
For this...was the limb of a Primeval One! A corpse-piece of one of existence’s apex beings, and even a piece of their body, even in death, was terrifying, its residual weavings humming with an authority that made the red waves kneel flat for miles around it!
And two figures were trying to eat it.

Gilded True Lifeforms.
