<THE True Human Emperor>
Ryaenara’s Dimension had changed with her.
Noah stood on its high plateau and looked at the changes openly, because they were everywhere. The floating paintings still drifted all around them, hundreds of them, Ulf’s life’s work hanging in the air at every height, some finished and some abandoned mid-stroke.
But the sky above them and the ground below had been painted over by something no brush had touched. Red gold light lay across all of it, the color of her new robes and her new blood, her transformation written onto the whole Dimension that answered to her existence!
Even the sickly figure of Ulf was looking around in excitement. He sat propped among his paintings, wasted thin by THE Withering of the Remembered Root, and his dim eyes moved across the changed sky with the wonder of a man who had watched it happen.
And yet, even now, he was raising one sickly finger.
He pointed toward a nearby floating painting.
It showed his sister. Ryaenara, in her newly transformed state, obsidian-haired and robed in red gold, kneeling on dark sands toward an illusory figure. The figure itself was barely rendered, a shape more than a body, and it was surrounded by a massive blood gold crown.
"I didn’t know if it would be a true future, or a false one," Ulf said. His voice came out thin and worn. "But the weight on my sister seems to be removed."
His dim eyes traveled up to Noah. "Have you come to try and do the same to me?"
Noah looked at the painting for a long moment.
Ulf had painted his sister kneeling toward him even before her transformation. How far back had this canvas been waiting?
He was more and more interested in what this being’s transformation could provide.
He moved forward, and a drop of radiant blood rose into the air before him, crimson gold around its stellar blue heart.
"I want to see if you can be cured by my blood alone. There was a Panacea I was initially going to try, but this may just be better."
Ulf looked at the drop, sickly and small beneath the floating archive of his own visions, and he nodded with dim eyes.
Less than a day ago, curing this being had been an impossibility not worth speaking of. The curse laid upon him traced to one of Those Who Remain, and Noah had told Ryaenara that he could not cure her brother. That doing so would require replacing his entire existence!
And the capability he had designed since was almost exactly that. THE Provenance Blood Mark grasped the very Lifeline of an existence and took it out of every framework, forcefully, into his.
Almost exactly. He was still unsure whether it would work!
The drop of blood went forward, and entered the forehead of Ulf.
The process that began was grand and slow and strangely sacred, crimson gold light sinking through the sick man’s skin in spreading veins, tracing him from crown to chest like dawn moving down a mountain, and behind Noah the figure of Ryaenara watched with apprehensive eyes filled with anxiousness, her hands pressed together!
Noah stayed focused.
The sickly figure of Ulf began to tremble. Lightly, then violently, his thin frame shaking as if seized, his jaw locking, and Noah went forward and put his hand on the head of this being, and gave the whole of his attention to what his blood was finding inside.
"Focus on my voice, and nothing else," Noah said. "Focus on the drop of blood permeating across your existence. You have been given a horrible fate this whole time, just because you can see the future. I need your entire existence to fight alongside me in rejecting this fate. You have autonomy. You have your own choices. Accept this change, and alter your entire weavings of existence."
HUUM!
His voice boomed out and reverberated across the entire Dimension, red gold sky and painted ground trembling with it!
And even as he was finishing, he felt it. A roaring rejection inside the body of Ulf, surging up against his blood, thrashing, almost as if a sliver of something within him was offended by what Noah was doing!
BOOM!
The forehead of Ulf instantly split apart!
His entire skull began to tear along its seams, blood sheeting down his wasted face as he screamed in absolutely horrendous pain, his body arching against Noah’s grip, and Noah felt his Provenance Essence buzz through the whole of him!
He came forward and held the man down even tighter, and he bellowed himself, and multiple more drops of his blood shot out and entered the body of this being one after another, the brilliance of the singularity within his existence shining Quintessentially through every drop!
BOOM!
Noah’s own forehead began to bleed, a line of red opening at his brow as though his skull would crack in answer, pressure for pressure!
He stood grandly and tyrannically through it, and his voice came down like a verdict.
"Merely a leftover curse! The being it was bound to is no longer here, as I have grasped their Lifeline and changed them to something else entirely!"
BOOM!

He was pale, but it was no longer the pallor of sickness. It was the flawless pale of old royalty, skin without a single mark of the Withering anywhere on it. His dark hair fell clean and heavy past a face that had recovered the bones of a much younger man. And his eyes had no pupils at all.
|Within his existence resides a singular art, his alone, carried through his bloodline of one. It has been identified: THE REMNANT SEER.|
|ULF has become a Noblesse Blood Apostle of the second tier: BLOOD MONARCH.|
