Infinite Mana In The Apocalypse novel Chapter 5681

Chapter 5681: Men and Sovereigns! I

<THE Shared Sky>

Existence was a terrifying, unfathomable expanse!

To forge one’s own Provenance was to declare a singular truth against an existence of competing realities as one stood completely alone in the crushing dark.

A sovereign lifeform could stand alone. They could generate their own immensity and hold back the heavy, rigid laws of existence with their own two hands. This was the nature of an apex predator as it was the path of absolute, unyielding authority!

But a singular pillar had to bear the entire weight of a collapsing sky!

When Those Who Remain looked down from their pristine thrones, they searched for the solitary anomalies. They isolated them and they crushed them because a lone truth was always easier to overwrite than a woven grandeur of sovereign wills. A single light in the dark merely invited the shadows to converge upon it.

There was a profound, glorious strength in shared existence!

To walk beside another Provenance Lifeform was not a dilution of authority as it was an exponential multiplication of Trueness! When two absolute realities intertwined, they did not erase each other. They created a localized continuum that the architects could not simply snuff out with a single thought. They anchored each other to the physical and conceptual planes as their combined weight forced the surrounding existence to bend to their collective will.

Doing everything alone was more than possible for a being burdened by glorious purpose. A solitary sovereign could conquer a Dimension and slaughter their enemies without relying on a single outside variable.

But existence was always easier to face when a lifeform did not have to hold up the heavy sky by themselves.

A tyrant could conquer a timeline alone, but a true Emperor built a court of apex predators to conquer the unknown!

A single sun could only illuminate so much before existence suffocated its light.

But constellations working together could rewrite the entire night sky!

<THE True Human Emperor>

The spring did its work without asking permission, and Noah let it!

Scorching golden essence pressed against his stellar blue-gold frame from every direction as prompts ticked pleasantly at the edge of his vision.

|VERITAS is increasing.|

|PONDUS is increasing.|

Free attributes, ancient secrets, and a scarred Patriarch marinating across from him with Ages of answers behind his teeth.

Noah settled deeper into the bubbling lava with the satisfaction of a man who had walked into a hostile mountain and found a buffet, and he decided to enjoy every course of it.

"You said you can hold off the Immense One," Noah began. "Before I weigh that offer, I want its other half. What exactly would the one I have taken Thalia from do?"

Aurelius Vasiliou opened his eyes.

For a moment the Patriarch said nothing.

"It will not come screaming," the Patriarch stated, his booming voice dropping into something flatter and far worse.

"An Immense One that has been slighted does not rage. It will arrive at the border of our Elseworld and present the agreement, clause by clause, and it will note that the promised bride is absent or defiled, and then it will name a price that existence itself will call fair."

"The price will not be Thalia. That is the cruelty of it. Taking her now would be accepting damaged goods, and its dignity will not allow that. So it will take everything around her instead. It will ask for a hundred daughters of the lineage in her place, and it will get them, because refusing turns a collection into a war. It will harvest the cultivated Provenance of our brightest, drained down to the root, taken as interest on the Ages it spent waiting. It will demand a tier of Vasileia emptied and burned, not because it needs the stone, but because a lesson must be visible from a distance. And when it is done, it will thank us for honoring the spirit of the agreement."

"They value their honor and their dignity above all else." Aurelius finished.

"How courteous of it," Noah remarked dryly. "Okay then, this is the cost. While I still have you talking here, I want to expand my knowledge. Causes, and the Provenances of Provenance Lifeforms. I am fairly new to all this as could you expand my knowledge? It should increase the chances of success of what needs to be done."

"Causes..."

"Look at the architecture of reality with clear eyes, and you will find Causes standing under all of it. Behind every Observable Existence, there are Causes bearing its weight. Behind the Unobservable Existences that most lifeforms never even learn to perceive, there are Causes. Behind entire Dimensions, holding their laws upright across the Ages, Causes. They are not treasures scattered for the ambitious to collect. They are structure. Existence itself treats a Cause as a critical support of its own body, and it extends that regard to anything a Cause stands behind. That is the secret the lesser frameworks chase without understanding."
