Jared chance novel Chapter 6394

"I know it. Of course I know it."

"In the old tome of the Sylvan Kin, there's a record of a legend about the elder towers."

"It's called the Legend of the Three Towers."

He lifted his eyes toward the distance, his gaze stretching so far it was as if it had crossed endless ages and returned to the elder age.

"According to the legend, in the elder age, when the world had only just begun to open and the Three Realms were still in chaos, demons ran wild, battles between immortals and gods never ceased, and living beings suffered everywhere."

"To bring peace to the Three Realms and protect all living things, mighty figures of that age forged three divine towers."

"They were the Pentacarna Tower, the Beast-Quelling Tower, and the Sanctum Tower."

"Each of those three divine towers possessed its own Godric, and their power was boundless enough to shake the Three Realms into submission."

"The Pentacarna Tower governs suppression. It can suppress every demon, fiend, and wicked thing in the world."

"Time flowed strangely inside the Pentacarna Tower. It could help a cultivator recover quickly and break through to a higher cultivation level."

"The Beast-Quelling Tower governed space. It could control the laws of space, move freely between heaven and earth, and ignore the limits of distance."

"The Sanctum Tower governed purification. It could cleanse all foul and corrupt energy and nourish the immortal soul,

raising a cultivator's state of mind and cultivation."

Chief Greenwood's voice turned even more solemn.

A trace of longing passed through his eyes.

"According to the legend, if someone could gather all three divine towers and merge them into one—"

"—they would become the Worldheart Tower, with supreme power to suppress countless worlds, command time and space, and purify all things."

"It could even rebuild the order of heaven and earth and restore peace to the Three Realms."

"But since ancient times, those three divine towers have been scattered across the Three Realms."

"No one had ever seen even one of them. As the years passed, the legend was gradually forgotten."

"Only in the old tomes kept by Elder Kin like us was there still a trace of it left behind."

He looked again at the Pentacarna Tower resting in Jared's palm.

His eyes stayed fixed on it, stunned, as if he still couldn't quite believe what he was seeing.

"I truly never imagined that in my lifetime, I would actually see the Pentacarna Tower with my own eyes."

"And I never imagined that this legendary supreme treasure would be in your hands!"

"Master Chance... who exactly are you?"

After hearing all that, Jared showed no surprise.

What Chief Greenwood had said was almost the same as what Sebastian Vale had told him before.

That made one thing plain. The Legend of the Three Towers was real.

Jared smiled faintly.

His voice stayed level as he said, "Clan Chief, there's no need to overthink it. I'm only an ordinary wandering cultivator."

"I belong to no sect and no school. By sheer chance, I happened to obtain these two towers."

"I'm not anyone special."

As he spoke, he raised his left hand again and turned his palm over.

A halo of white light bloomed into view.

Another small white tower, no bigger than his palm, slowly took shape.

Then it settled into his hand.

The tower was pure white from top to bottom, clear and luminous, as if it had been carved from flawless white jade.

Its body was covered in ancient sigils too.

But these sigils were gentler than the ones on the Pentacarna Tower, giving off a faint white glow.

The light looked pure and warm.

Set against the Pentacarna Tower's black, weighty presence, the contrast was impossible to miss.

One black, one white. One hard, one yielding.

The pair fit together so perfectly it barely seemed real.

"The Beast-Quelling Tower!"

The instant Elder Cillian saw the white tower, he blurted it out.

His eyes went wide and round.

Disbelief spread across his face, and even his body had started to shake.

As an elder of the Sylvan Kin, he had read through the old tome of their people before.

He knew something of the Legend of the Three Towers.
