Chapter 221
ARIA’S POV
The next two days went by very fast. Finally, the day of the game was here. The state arena was very loud and busy. Thousands of fans were shouting and checring
I stood inside the private VIP section, looking down through the big glass window. Down below, the bright white ice shone under the big lights.
I pulled my warm cream sweater tight around myself. Amelia was safe at home with her ranny, away from all this noise. But my heart was still beating fast.
I knew this game was very important. It was not just a sport. It felt like a hidden fight between Julian and Brandon.
Suddenly, two strong arms wrapped around my waist from behind. Brandon pulled me close against his chest. He smelled like expensive cologne, and his warmth made me feel a little better.
“You are thinking too much, Aria,” Brandon said softly near my ear. He kissed my neck gently.
I leaned back against him and sighed. “I just do not want any trouble, Brandon. Julian was so angry when he called me the other day. I am scared something bad will happen.”
Brandon laughed quietly. It was a calm, dark laugh. He turned me around so I had to look into his dark eyes. “Let him be angry. Tonight, he has to play by my rules to save his career. He has too much to lose. He will not do anything stupid.”
He touched my face gently with his thumb. “Just relax and watch the game, my queen. You are up here with me now.”
Right then, a loud buzzer rang through the arena. The game was starting. The crowd cheered loudly as the players skated out onto the ice in a long line. My eyes looked through the players until I saw the team captain.
It was Julian.
He looked very serious and focused as he skated across the ice. But when his team lined up in the middle of the rink for the start of the game, Julian did not look at the puck.
Instead, he looked straight up at our private VIP section. Even from far away, I could feel how angry he was. He was looking for me. But when he looked at our box, he did not just see me.
He saw Brandon standing right next to me, with his arm held tightly around my shoulders. Brandon was showing everyone
I‘ that I belonged to him.
I saw Julian’s body go stiff, His hands gripped his hockey stick so hard it looked like it might break.
“It is starting,” Brandon whispered next to me. His arm held me a little tighter. He looked down at Julian with a cold smile on his face. “Let us see if he can play well under pressure.”
I watched Julian play, my eyes completely locked on him. He was good. He was really, really good. Every time he took th puck, he moved across the ice like lightning.
He passed with perfect timing, and his shots were so fast the other team’s goalie could barely see them. It was clear he was giving this game everything he had.
Even Brandon, who stood right next to me watching every play, could not deny how talented Julian was. When the final buzzer rang, the game was over. Julian’s team won.

Chapter 221
Instantly, the whole arena went wild. The building was filled with loud screams and cheers from thousands of people. Fans stood up, waving their signs, and soon, Julian’s name was being chanted inside the arena.
“Julian! Julian! Julian!” The sound shook the glass window of our VIP section. Down on the ice, his teammates rushed toward him, piling on top of him to celebrate the big victory. Julian had saved their season,
Brandon did not look upset by the noise or the chanting. His face remained perfectly calm and unbothered. He turned to me, his dark eyes smooth and steady as he reached down and took my hand in his tight, warm grip.
“They did their part,” Brandon said, his voice easily cutting through the noise of the crowd. “It is time to go down and meet with the team.”
We walked down from the VIP section and entered the long hallways leading to the locker room. The sound of the shouting crowd grew softer, replaced by the heavy echo of our footsteps on the concrete floor.
Halfway there, Henderson met us. He was smiling, looking very happy with the game’s result. Brandon stopped and introduced me to him.
“Henderson, this is Aria, my girlfriend,” Brandon said.
Henderson looked at me and offered a warm smile. “It is nice to meet you, Aria. I have heard a lot about you. My friend here is completely obsessed with you.”
I felt a little flush creep up my cheeks, but I smiled back politely. “Thank you, Mr. Henderson.” We kept walking until we reached the coach’s office.
When Julian’s coach saw us, his face lit up with relief and excitement. He walked right up to Brandon. “Mr. Brandon. Thank you so much. Your legal team already reached out to me about the contract. I am immensely grateful.”
Brandon nodded, his face calm and professional. “It is my pleasure, Coach. Your team has a lot of potential. They proved that tonight.”
Just then, the doors opened and the players came walking down the hallway. They were covered in sweat, still wearing their heavy gear, and talking loudly about the win. But the moment they saw us, the noise stopped.
Julian was walking in front of the group. The very second his eyes landed on me and saw Brandon holding my hand tightly, he froze right in his tracks.
His face completely changed, turning dark and grim. His fists clenched at his sides. Brandon acted like he did not even notice Julian’s anger.
He looked past him at the rest of the players and spoke in a clear, commanding voice. “Well done torfight, boys. My legal team will bring over the documents. Each of you will need to sign. Just make sure you keep playing your best and do not disappoint me.”
The players all nodded eagerly, smiles breaking out on their faces. They were thrilled to have a billionaire backing their dreams.
Then, Brandon looked directly at Julian. His voice was smooth, almost polite, but it held a dangerous edge. “Julian. You did a great job out there tonight.”
Before Julian could say a word, Brandon pulled me just a little closer to his side, making sure our joined hands were clearly visible to everyone in the hall. He looked at the whole group of players.
“Boys, I want to introduce you to Aria,” Brandon said clearly, his eyes locking onto Julian’s furious face. “She is my girlfriend.”

Chapter 221-
the hallway went completely silent. I felt a hot wave of embarrassment wash over me, making me feel completely exposed as all the men stared directly at me. The silence was heavy and suffocating.
Then, one of the younger players in the back whispered loudly to his teammate, “Wait, isn’t that Julian’s baby mama?”
The words cut through the quiet hallway like a knife. Instantly, the small smile vanished from Brandon’s face.
His jaw went completely rigid, and his dark eyes narrowed into dangerous slits as he looked toward the back of the group. The warm hand holding mine turned into a tight, protective grip, and the air in the hallway suddenly felt freezing cold.
Julian walked right up to us, stepping out from the group of players. He stared directly at Brandon, his chest heaving under his jersey.
“Yes,” Julian said, his voice loud and challenging. “She is the love of my life and the mother of my child.”
I stared at him, my heart hammering against my ribs. He looked completely unraveled, like someone I didn’t even recognize anymore. The desperation in his eyes was terrifying.
I could feel the dangerous rage radiating off Brandon. His body went completely stiff, and he was just about to step forward and intervene.
But before Brandon could jump in, I spoke up first. I wasn’t going to let Julian use me to play his games anymore.
“I am the mother of Julian’s child,” I said, my voice ringing out clearly through the tense hallway. “But the child lives with me. Julian is already married to someone else, and I am very happy with Brandon. Is that a problem?”
The words hit Julian like a physical blow. He flinched, his face turning incredibly pale as the truth slapped him in front of his entire team.
The players all looked incredibly uncomfortable, shifting their weight from side to side. They quickly shook their heads in unison, murmuring a chorus of “No, ma’am,” and “Not at all.”
Julian stood frozen, completely silenced by my words. Brandon looked down at me, the harsh edge in his eyes softening instantly with pride and satisfaction.
He wrapped his arm securely around my waist, pulling me flush against his side to remind everyone exactly who I belonged
He then looked back up at the team, his voice cool and commanding. “Aria and I have to leave now. Good game tonight, boys. I will see you all soon.”
