Kicked Out I Unlocked My Ultimate Boss Mode novel Chapter 26

**TITLE: Broken Doesn’t Mean End**
**By M. Kaushik**
**Chapter 26: Don’t Flatter Yourself**

“Sean, you’re really losing your touch. Can you believe it? Your little lapdog actually had the audacity to hang up on you? That’s a new low for you.”

“Seems like you’ve really managed to anger Helen this time. Normally, all it takes is a single call from you, and she comes running back, no matter where she is.”

“Sean, your charisma has definitely faded. If Helen’s not showing up, then it looks like you’re in for a long night with that bottle all by yourself!”

In the dimly lit private room, a group of affluent playboys sprawled across plush couches, their laughter echoing off the walls as they poked fun at the man seated in the center.

Sean’s grip on his phone tightened, his sharp features marred by a cold, hard expression. The laughter around him faded into a dull roar as he tossed his phone aside, a dismissive snort escaping his lips. “She’s just a lapdog. Whether she shows up or not is irrelevant.”

As if he truly cared about her presence.

As if he genuinely valued her peculiar herbal concoctions.

His tone dripped with a nonchalance that seemed almost rehearsed, as if he were trying to convince himself that her absence was of no consequence.

Yet, the tension in his clenched fingers betrayed the annoyance simmering beneath the surface.

Meanwhile, at the entrance of the Royal Court…

Josh’s gleaming blue sports car screeched to a halt outside, instantly capturing the attention of onlookers.

Neon lights flickered in a dazzling display throughout the Royal Court, while heavy metal music pulsed through the air, setting the stage for a night of revelry.

With a theatrical flourish, Josh stepped out, clutching his stomach as if he were in agony, and thrust a dark gold card into Helen’s hand. “Helen, you head up first! This is your pass to the ‘Skyline Elite Zone’—straight to Private Room No.1 in the Celestial Hall. The guys are all eagerly waiting for you inside!”

“I need to take care of some urgent business first!”

Without waiting for her response, he dashed away, still gripping his stomach as if it were a ticking time bomb.

Helen stood there, momentarily at a loss for words, the card feeling heavy in her palm.

She slipped the access card into her pocket and made her way toward the new VIP area, the Skyline Elite Zone. This was the pinnacle of luxury at the Royal Court, a realm reserved for only the most influential players.

“Derek, don’t be so harsh…” Lydia interjected, shaking his arm gently before turning her attention back to Helen. “Helen, I know you don’t want to return to the countryside. But those are your real family, after all. Just because the Morgans have wealth doesn’t mean you should abandon your true family.”

With a flourish, she pulled a card from her designer bag. “Here’s some allowance Mom gave me. There’s $100,000 in this account. Take it and just leave us alone, alright?”

Derek stopped her, a look of disbelief crossing his face. “Lydia, why are you giving her money? Dad already made her an offer, and she turned it down, remember? Why should we give her anything now?”

He squinted at Helen, his smile morphing into something far more sinister. “Who knows… maybe she’s here for your fiancé.”

“Sean?” Lydia gasped, her eyes wide with shock, her lips trembling as she fought back tears. “Helen, I know you have feelings for Sean. But he’s my fiancé now… Pursuing him like this only makes you look desperate…”

She was teetering on the edge of labeling Helen a homewrecker in the harshest terms.

Helen regarded the two of them, bouncing around like clowns in a circus, her eyes narrowing with a lazy indifference. A cold smirk crept onto her lips. “Chasing after you? Don’t flatter yourselves.”

Derek’s expression darkened, his face contorted with fury.
