Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 104

Haskell chuckled softly. “What can I say? When I can’t see you, watching a video like this is the only way to ease the ache of missing you.”

Larissa shot back playfully, “Oh, no. I’m starting to think you have a bit of a stalker streak in you.”

Instead of being offended, Haskell replied earnestly, “If loving you and missing you makes me a stalker, then I plead guilty.”

Larissa finished the video and pushed the phone back into his hand. “Tsk. I can never win with you.”

Haskell secured his phone and asked, “So, what’s next on the agenda?”

A sly smile touched Larissa’s lips. “Next, we watch Honora perform. She bragged to my face that she’s a master of the arts, while I’m only good for farming. She even offered to ‘teach’ me.”

With that, she walked back toward the large screen at the front of the hall. “Thank you again to all our guests for joining me tonight. Besides the food and drinks, we should, of course, have some entertainment to liven things up.”

All eyes turned to her.

“What does she mean by that? Is Larissa going to perform something for us?”

“What talent could she possibly have?”

“You never know. We all thought she couldn’t dance, but she was even better than Honora.”

“That’s true! Suddenly, I’m actually a little excited to see what she does.”

Larissa’s gaze swept across the room. “The Judson family has a building called the Haven Loft. When I first arrived, our family’s adopted daughter, Honora, was kind enough to explain to me that it’s where the Judson heirs go to study.”

The expressions on Paxton and Vivica’s faces were particularly grim.

Leopold gritted his teeth and defended Honora. “Well, she wasn’t wrong, was she? She is a master of the arts, and you grew up in the countryside. Don’t tell me you can’t farm, cook, and clean.”

Larissa nodded. “Oh, I can. All thanks to Honora’s mother for swapping us at birth. If it weren’t for that, I never would have had the chance to learn such valuable skills. I feel so honored.”

Leopold was rendered speechless.

Honora felt the burn of dozens of curious stares, and she bit her lip so hard she nearly drew blood.

Larissa’s smile widened. “So tonight, I would like to humbly ask you, Honora, to demonstrate some of the arts you’ve mastered. Why don’t you put on a little show for everyone right here, at my welcome party? What do you say?”
