Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 158

“Leopold? What are you doing just standing there?”

The familiar, sweet voice broke through Leopold’s angry thoughts, and the rage inside him instantly evaporated. He turned to see Honora getting out of the passenger side of a modest electric car, her graceful figure as captivating as a spring blossom.

Honora glanced back at the man in the driver’s seat with a warm smile. “Solon, thank you so much for your help today.”

“Don’t mention it,” Solon Schwartz replied with a grin. “I’m always happy to help. I’ll pick you up tomorrow.”

Honora nodded. “Okay. See you then.”

She closed the door and waved as the car drove away. Only then did Leopold walk over to her, a puzzled look on his face. “Is that your writer friend? Driving such a cheap car.”

Honora nodded. “He’s just a novelist. He’s made some money, but not enough to afford a luxury car.”

Leopold curled his lip in distaste. “A guy that broke… I have a hard time believing he actually knows the famous ‘Field of Lari.’ He’s probably just lying to get close to you.”

Honora paused, then gave a slightly awkward laugh. “I doubt it.”

But even as she said it, a seed of doubt was planted in her mind. She quickly dismissed it. Solon wouldn’t lie to her about something so important.

Reassured, she looked up and saw Finley’s limited-edition sports car in the garage. “Oh, Finley’s back too? I have great news for him. Field of Lari has agreed to a meeting.”

Leopold’s face lit up. “That’s fantastic! I’ll take you to him. He just went over to the east wing to see Larissa.”

Honora frowned, wondering why Finley would be visiting Larissa. Was he trying to get on her good side, too?

Her smile vanished as she followed Leopold toward the other side of the estate.

Just as he was about to leave, he heard Honora’s voice behind him. “Finley.”

He stopped and turned. “Honora, what are you doing here?”

“Honora said Field of Lari agreed to meet with you,” Leopold explained. “I brought her over to tell you the good news.”

Finley’s eyes widened. “Really?”

Honora nodded.

Inside the doorway, Larissa heard the name ‘Field of Lari’ and a flicker of amusement crossed her face.

Oh? So Honora was the ‘friend’ Solon was talking about.
