Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 199

Just then, a calm voice came from the doorway.

“I hear there’s been a development in the investigation. As an innocent victim in this crash, I believe I have a right to know what happened.”

Crispin wheeled Haskell into the room.

At the sight of him, Vivica’s bravado wavered. She cast a nervous glance at her husband. The heir to the Palmer family was here to hold them accountable. If it was proven that Leopold had tampered with the car, they would be in serious trouble.

Paxton shot her a look, silently telling her to stay calm.

Though Kiernan disliked airing the family’s dirty laundry in public, he had no choice but to agree. “Of course, Mr. Palmer. The Judson family is fully responsible for involving you in this.”

After Crispin positioned Haskell near Larissa’s bed, Kiernan nodded at Jett to present his findings.

“After a thorough review of the surveillance footage around Paddy’s Home,” Jett began, “we confirmed that the vehicles belonging to Finley, Leopold, and Larissa all entered the underground parking garage. However, several cameras in the garage were deliberately destroyed on that day. These specific cameras happened to cover the area where Larissa’s car was parked.”

“And what does that prove?” Vivica immediately retorted. “I’ve said it before, this was all orchestrated by Larissa! She probably destroyed the cameras herself to cover her tracks!”

“That area is a reserved VIP parking zone,” Jett explained. “To ensure the absolute safety of their guests and property, they installed concealed cameras from multiple angles as a fail-safe.”

A profound sense of dread washed over Vivica. Even Paxton’s stoic expression began to crack.

“According to the footage we recovered,” Jett said, his voice steady, “Leopold did approach Larissa’s car and inspect it. He then made a phone call, summoning his personal bodyguard. After giving some instructions, the bodyguard had someone unlock Larissa’s car and spent a considerable amount of time inside it before leaving.”

Jett held out a tablet displaying the video for Paxton and Vivica. “See for yourselves.”
