Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 26

With that, Larissa forcefully yanked her hand away from Honora’s grasp.

Honora’s smile froze. Seeing that they were alone, she dropped the pretense.

“Larissa, why must you be so ungrateful? Mom and Dad only brought you back so you could marry Haskell in my place. A country girl like you should be thanking your lucky stars for the chance to climb the social ladder. Why are you making things so difficult for yourself by siding with Neville and Sapphira? Now you’ve made yourself an outcast on both sides. How awkward.”

She continued, her voice dripping with scorn, “And you don’t really believe they like you, do you? They only agreed to take you in because you have Judson blood. They’re just hoping that if Grandpa is generous, you’ll inherit a piece of the family fortune.”

When Larissa ignored her, she pressed on with her provocations. “Do you know what this building is for?”

She answered her own question. “This is where the Judson children are educated. I’ve spent my life in here, learning from the best private tutors money can buy. Music, painting, languages… I’m proficient in all of them.”

Her eyes raked over Larissa dismissively. “I wonder how many of those skills you possess.”

“None, I’d imagine. What a pity. You’re too old to start learning now.”

“But don’t worry,” she added with a saccharine smile. “You know how to plant vegetables and do laundry. I don’t know any of that. I’ll have to ask you for lessons sometime.”

Without a word, Larissa swung her hand and slapped Honora across the face.

But before Leopold could even get close, Larissa shot out a kick, striking him squarely on the knee. He didn't land a single blow. Instead, he crumpled, his hands hitting the ground as he fell to his knees before her.

Before he could react, Larissa stepped on the hand he was using to support himself.

“So noisy,” she said, casually cleaning out her ear.

“Leopold!” Honora cried out, shocked that Larissa had actually attacked him. “Larissa, I can understand you hitting me, but how could you attack our brother?”
