Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 277

Honora never imagined Larissa would use her life as leverage to force a confession about that incident.

If she admitted it, her carefully crafted image as a talented, pure, and noble lady of high society would be shattered. Her dreams of marrying into a top-tier family would be gone forever.

That was a fate worse than death.

Honora decided to take a gamble. She didn’t believe Larissa would actually let her die in front of so many people.

Finley, having seen the to-do lists in Honora’s notebook, trusted her implicitly. “Larissa, stop projecting your own twisted nature onto others,” he shot back. “Honora would never do something like that!”

“My daughter Honora would never stoop so low,” Paxton added with a cold sneer. She was his pride and joy; if she confessed to such a thing, the twenty years he had invested in her would be worthless.

“Larissa, you’re just trying to blackmail her!” Vivica chimed in.

“Larissa… if you don’t want to save me, then don’t,” Honora gasped, forcing out the words before spitting up another mouthful of blood. “But why… why must you resort to threats?”

Larissa raised an eyebrow. Well, Honora certainly had stamina. She was betting that Larissa wouldn’t risk her reputation by letting her die.

“I don’t want to save you,” Larissa said with a shrug. “But Finley was the one who asked. I’m just giving you a chance.”

“That’s right, I’m begging you,” Finley said, his eyes fixed on Larissa. “Whatever you want, just ask it of me. Honora is in agony. How can you be so cruel as to torment her at a time like this?”

Larissa scoffed. “I already have Starlight Media in the palm of my hand. You have nothing left to offer me.”

Putting the jar away, Larissa turned to Haskell. “Haskell, the poison is dealt with. Now it’s your turn.”

“Larissa, Honora’s poison hasn’t been treated yet!” Finley roared.

Larissa ignored him. Finley lunged forward in a rage, but Crispin and his men blocked his path. “This is the Palmer estate, Finley. I suggest you control your temper.”

Seething with impotent fury, Finley yelled, “Larissa, you have the heart of a viper! You’ll get what’s coming to you!”

He then turned to the Palmer patriarch. “Mr. Zoltan, are you not afraid of such a cold-blooded person? Are you really going to let her marry into your family? She can be indifferent to a human life right in front of her! One day, she’ll do the same to you!”

To his surprise, Zoltan just laughed coldly. “Your family deserves the way Larissa has treated you. At her own engagement party, you and your mother publicly slandered her. You are the ones who are cold-blooded and terrifying! I have no doubt that Larissa would never treat me or my grandson that way, because we are willing to treat her with sincerity.”
