Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 306

The 001 robot was the culmination of over twenty years of Neville’s research. It was precisely this passion for intelligent automation that had fueled his lack of interest in taking over the Judson family business, leading him to establish Sprout Tech instead.

Initially, Neville had intended to program 001 for domestic services. However, after accepting Larissa as his daughter and seeing the dangers she faced, he changed his plans. He loaded 001’s databanks with the skills and knowledge of a top-tier bodyguard. Now, 001 was the equivalent of an elite agent, capable of taking on a hundred opponents at once.

With 001 protecting Larissa, he and Sapphira could finally rest a little easier.

Larissa followed the location Avril Palmer had sent her, pulling up to the gate of a high-end residential complex. She parked and sent Avril a quick voice call.

The call connected almost instantly.

“Larissa, are you here?” Avril’s excited voice burst through the speaker before Larissa could say a word. “I’m coming out right now! I’ll be quick!”

And she was. Three minutes after hanging up, Avril was sprinting out of the main gate, arriving at Larissa’s car slightly out of breath.

“What’s the rush?” Larissa chuckled at the sight.

Avril caught her breath. “I couldn’t let you wait too long!”

Larissa gestured with her chin. “Get in.”

Avril looked at her with wide, hopeful eyes. “Larissa, can I ride shotgun?”

“Of course,” Larissa replied, not understanding the hesitation.

Avril immediately circled around the front of the car, hopped into the passenger seat, and buckled her seatbelt. “Hehe, I was just worried the passenger seat might be reserved exclusively for Haskell.”

Avril’s eyes lit up again. “You have your own item for auction? That’s amazing!”

Larissa couldn’t help but laugh. “Are you always this full of compliments?”

Avril quickly waved her hands. “Not at all! The only people I praise like this are you and Haskell! I’m not like the others; I truly believe you two are perfect for each other. At least, you’re way better than Honora!”

As they were talking, they entered the auction house. Just as Avril finished her sentence, they came face-to-face with Honora and Finley in the circular corridor leading to the private suites.

Naturally, Avril’s words had reached their ears.

Finley frowned at the sight of Larissa, while Honora spoke up, her voice laced with anger. “Larissa, is this how you talk about me behind my back?”
