Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 345

Larissa couldn’t sleep anyway, so she decided to go downstairs and see who it was. She glanced at the video intercom screen and saw Finley standing outside. The pale moonlight washed over his handsome face, making it look ashen and drained of all color.

Wrapping her robe tighter around herself, she went out and opened the gate. “Finley. What do you want at this hour?”

Finley‘s eyes were fixed on her, his lips trembling as he spoke. “My dad… Uncle Neville stabbed my dad.”

Larissa’s expression remained unchanged.

“Is he dead?” she asked coolly. “As long as he’s not, it’s fine. Otherwise, finding a lawyer to get my dad acquitted would be a real hassle.”

Disappointment flooded Finley’s eyes. He couldn’t believe her reaction. “Why can’t you show us even a flicker of compassion? Have you really condemned us all in your heart?”

She nodded, her face a blank mask. “Yes. In my heart, your entire family is guilty as charged.”

“Look at what you’ve done to the Judson family! We’re tearing each other apart because of you. Don’t you feel even the slightest bit of guilt?” He couldn’t comprehend her indifference.

Larissa scoffed. “Are you here to blame me, Finley?” Her voice turned sharp. “If I feel any guilt, it’s for what my parents have had to endure. But for you? Why should I feel guilty? My only regret is that you haven’t fallen far enough.”

“But what did you show me when I returned? You were living happily with the daughter of the criminal who ruined my life. Even after you learned the truth, you ignored it. You only brought me back to marry me off to the crippled Haskell in her place.”

“What did I do wrong?” she asked, her voice tight. “Nothing. I did nothing wrong. You were the ones who were wrong.”

“If I had been weak, you would have trampled all over me and continued to make mistake after mistake. But unfortunately for you, I am strong enough to make you pay for every single one of them.”

After Seaton found her, she had lived a carefree life for a time. But it didn’t last. He had been gravely ill and had moved to a small town to live out his days when he found her. After six years, his illness finally claimed him.
