Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 356

“Speak!” Kiernan roared, his voice cracking with fury. “I want to hear you say it!”

Paxton remained silent, shaking.

Kiernan, his face livid, pushed Sapphira’s supporting hand away and stalked toward his son, leaning heavily on his cane. He raised it high and brought it down hard on Paxton’s shoulder.

“You animal! How could you do something so despicable?”

He struck him again and again. The blows aggravated Paxton’s stab wound, and blood began to seep through his gown.

“Dad, stop! Please!” Vivica cried, rushing forward to grab the cane.

Kiernan whirled on her.

“You’re just as guilty!” he bellowed, swinging the cane at her. It caught her on the hip, and she yelped, stumbling back. “Dad, stop, it hurts!”

Finley moved to shield her, and the next blow landed on his back.

“You dare to protect her?” Kiernan raged, striking him again.

Suddenly, another elderly voice boomed from the doorway. “Kiernan! Your son kidnapped my daughter and was going to cut off her finger. You can’t possibly think a few whacks with a cane will settle this. We, the Turners, won't put up with it!”

Kiernan lowered his cane, his expression grave. “Rest assured, I will not be lenient with Paxton this time.”

He swept his gaze over Paxton’s family. “I told you, I don’t care about your petty squabbles, but you do not harm your own family. Paxton, you have crossed a line.”

Seeing her husband bleeding, Vivica made a desperate plea. “Dad, Paxton only did this because he was pushed to it by Larissa! She poisoned your grandson! Not a petty squabble, but poison! She wants to kill Finley! Were we supposed to just stand by and watch him die?”

Kiernan looked at Larissa, his eyes filled with doubt. “Larissa, is this true?”

“No, Grandpa,” she said, her voice steady. “I did not poison Finley. Aunt Vivica is lying.”
