Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 371

Avril couldn’t help but mutter, “What a bunch of fools.”

Paxton’s face tightened. “Leopold, you were in a coma. How could you possibly know all this?”

“I heard it with my own ears, Dad!” Leopold insisted. “I don’t know how, but even though I couldn’t move, my mind was clear. I heard everything that evil woman did while she was ‘caring’ for me!”

It dawned on Vivica. She looked at Larissa. “That silver needle…”

Larissa’s lips curved into a cold smile. “That’s right. I woke Leopold up a long time ago. Just his mind, not his body.”

The words struck Honora like a bolt of lightning, and she began to tremble uncontrollably. It can’t be… Leopold has been aware this whole time?

Finley finally understood what Larissa meant when she said he would regret giving the cure to Honora. And he did. He regretted it deeply. He had given the only cure to a manipulative monster who had played his entire family for fools.

If Vivica had felt any lingering affection for Honora before, it was now completely incinerated by rage. She loved her adopted daughter, yes, but no one came before her sons.

Without a shred of doubt in her son’s words, Vivica shot to her feet, marched over to the kneeling Honora, and kicked her squarely in the chest.

“You little stray! How dare you do this to my son! You deserve to be skinned alive! We took you in, raised you, and this is how you repay us?”

The kick was delivered with all her strength. Honora, frail to begin with, crumpled to the floor in a pathetic heap.

The crack echoed through the silent room.

“Aaargh!” Honora screamed in pain.

Everyone except Larissa and Haskell flinched at the sudden violence.

Kiernan watched from the sidelines, his face impassive.

Paxton yanked Honora’s head up by her hair, forcing her to look at Larissa. “How dare you plot so much behind my back!” he roared. “Did you really think I was a fool? Using my money to support your deadbeat father and hire assassins to kill my daughter! Now, you will get on your knees and beg her for forgiveness!”
