“This is Livia Tyson.”

Larissa had been right.

“I’ve taken care of Honora for you,” Livia continued, “but don’t think for a second it’s because I was jealous over some man.”

A small, intrigued smile played on Larissa’s lips. “Oh? Do tell.”

“I don’t know or care if you were involved in Jagger’s arrest,” Livia explained, “but the fact that you dared to provoke the Lincoln family means you must have some serious power behind you. So, if you manage to take them down for good, it would be a huge favor to me.”

Larissa laughed. “Interesting. I thought you were as head-over-heels for Lucius as the tabloids claim.”

“Bullshit!” Livia swore. “I just don’t have the power to deal with Lucius myself. Who in their right mind would want to be with a violent monster like him?”

A genuine smile touched Larissa’s face. This Livia really was the real deal.

“Alright,” she said. “Don’t worry. I will bring down the Lincoln family.”

In the car, Honora, who had overheard the entire conversation, stared in disbelief. “Livia, you’re helping that bitch Larissa take down your own fiancé!”

Livia hung up and shot Honora a disgusted look. “You think everyone is like you? Scheming and playing the victim just to win a man’s affection?”

She turned to the bodyguard. “Alright, you can take her away now.”

Just then, an assistant entered the office and hurried to Lucius’s side. “Sir, we have a problem. Ms. Tyson somehow found out that Honora was at the Neverending Night. She assumed Honora was your mistress, caused a scene, and took the woman away.”

Lucius’s face turned to ice. He glared at Damon, who was now trembling. “Your daughter has quite the temper.”

Damon swallowed hard. “My apologies, Mr. Lincoln. I’ll make sure Livia reflects on her actions…”

“I don’t want there to be a next time,” Lucius said coldly. “Otherwise, what happens to Starlight Media will happen to Gale Entertainment.”

Damon nodded vigorously. “Understood, Mr. Lincoln.”

“Also,” Lucius continued, “the deepfaked video of Larissa. Release it as soon as it’s ready. Buy a bot farm, get it trending. I want it to bury the news about my uncle’s arrest. A sex scandal is always more entertaining for the masses.”
