Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 439

"Tell me! What did you just make me swallow?!" Faith demanded, her eyes still filled with the same contemptuous disdain.

Larissa was tired of that look. Without a second thought, she slapped her.

The force of the blow was even greater than Crispin's. Faith was knocked to the ground, the tie in her hair flying off, her hair spilling around her shoulders.

Larissa planted a foot on her stomach and looked down at her.

"When you're at our mercy, you should learn your place and watch your tone. If you want to live, you should be begging for your life like the man kneeling over there, not shouting at me."

Draven, the target of her insult, clenched his fists but remained silent. He wanted to live, so he kept his mouth shut.

This was the final indignity for Faith. No one had ever humiliated her like this. She gritted her teeth, her eyes burning with hatred. "Larissa, I don't believe you have the guts to kill me! But I swear, the first chance I get, I will kill you!"

Larissa snapped her fingers.

Faith's defiant expression contorted into one of agony. She tried to clutch her stomach, but with her hands and feet bound, she could only writhe on the ground like a worm.

"Ah!"

Pain. Excruciating pain! It felt as if venomous insects were gnawing at her insides.

Draven watched, frozen in shock.

When Faith was on the verge of passing out, Larissa inserted a single needle into her skin, and the pain began to subside.

At the mention of him, Draven flinched, terrified he would be next.

"Just let him kneel," Haskell said dismissively. "We need our strength before we interrogate him."

"Sounds good to me," Larissa said with a smile. She clapped her hands together, sat back down, and picked up a fork, ready to enjoy her meal.

Draven's knees were numb, but he didn't dare move. As long as he could get back to his life of luxury, he could endure anything.

"Larissa, was the video of Lucius and his uncle your handiwork?" Haskell asked.

A crisis with a new project had kept him in an emergency meeting late into the night. By the time he had finished reviewing the file Crispin had compiled on Draven and checked the news, it was too late to call her.
