Larissa's Game of Thrones (Larissa) novel Chapter 467

As Larissa reached the main floor, Damon sneered. “What’s this about, Larissa? Thinking of bidding again? You have that kind of cash? Or are you planning to sell Judson Pharmaceuticals?”

Larissa smiled sweetly. “Neither. You see, I am Field of Lari, the author of ‘Heaven’s Will’. And I simply have no intention of selling the rights to you.”

“What?! You’re Field of Lari?!”

The room reeled in collective shock. The live-stream chat exploded as viewers frantically debated the truth of her claim.

Lucius’s brow furrowed.

“Don’t be ridiculous,” Magnus scoffed, as if hearing the world’s funniest joke. “If you’re Field of Lari, does that mean you orchestrated this whole event?”

“That’s right,” Larissa admitted without hesitation.

“Then why bother?” Magnus pressed. “If you’re the author, you could have just given the rights to your own company. Why stage this elaborate farce? Just to mess with us?”

“Initially, it was to humiliate Finley. Now, it’s to humiliate your master, Mr. Lincoln,” Larissa said, her tone utterly unapologetic.

Damon and Magnus felt like they’d swallowed a turd. Their master? The words were deeply insulting, making them sound like Lucius’s servants. Though the jab stung, they didn't dare refute it for fear of angering Lucius further.

“I know your master, Mr. Lincoln, wanted to put me in my place, to cut off every possible resource for Starlight Media,” Larissa continued, clicking her tongue mockingly. “The battle for ‘Heaven’s Will’ was supposed to be his first victory. But it looks like you’ve stumbled.”

“Whether you’re Field of Lari or not is still up for debate!” Damon challenged, turning to the host. “Lenora, is she telling the truth?”

Lenora looked from Larissa to Damon and nodded. “I am Field of Lari’s editor. While I have never met her in person, the name on the contract is indeed Larissa Judson.”

Unfazed, Larissa produced two documents from a folder. “I have a habit of writing my first drafts by hand. This is the original manuscript for ‘Heaven’s Will’,” she explained, holding one up. “And this is the publishing contract I signed with the website.”

Magnus stepped forward, snatched the documents, and examined them. His face fell as he confirmed her identity. One by one, the other company representatives came forward to see for themselves.

The representative from Sky Entertainment finally broke the stunned silence. “This is outrageous, Larissa! If you’re Field of Lari, you were always going to give the rights to your own company. Why waste all of our time with this elaborate meeting?”
